 Karen, you just made my day! :D
Good morning, REOvil! Even though our hearts are still heavy, I hope everyone finds a few moments today to enjoy.

Cows, yep, the only Douglass sign I could find! Lots of pics out there of land! The joy of living in the country! Flatland country I might add! ;)

Mornin REOville! Hope everyone is doing well today. So glad the weekend is here, in my job the end of the month is always crazy, every one wants to close at the end of the month. This last week at work felt like an end of the month week, everyone wanted everything rushed, but most was sent in half done, and no one was returning phone calls. I don't get head aches very often, but had a screaming meanie by the end of the day, and all I did last evening was sit and yawn. I did sleep like a rock last night, after a fitful sleep the night before. Have a good weekend all!
Jen, one more week till Father's/Quit day! I'm feeling very optimistic, and I am enjoying the RM2 I was gifted so much that I ordered 2 more yesterday, so they will be here in time. Also, I know how you feel, I felt like a celebrity when Karen posted a pic of our city hall!

I'm getting ready for Father's Day too! Finally got all the flavorings to make my favorite juice and mixed up about 600 mls of it last night. I don't know why, but I got stingy and was trying to use up flavorings that I don't like to save a penny. I never smoked generics (in the last decade or so), so why was I skimping on my juice? Also put a good polish on my mini yesterday.
 Let's do this!

I've had a confusing fast-paced week! I went downstate, lined up a senior apartment on the second floor/small balcony on Mon. But I thought I'd have to wait for a couple of months at least to move, but there's one available this coming month!
I took my GD to Red Lobster ( her favorite) and while we were there she told me she had a surprise for me. Next thing I know a friend of hers, that I've always called GD cuz she and my GD have been friends since they were little girls ( she'd go "upnorth with the other GD's and me)came strolling in. I hadn't seen her in many years, it was a joyful reunion. Then we went to my GD's apartment and the other two GD's were there...another surprise!
I drove back here the next day and had to take my kittie Tukii to a friend to keep as there's no pets where I'm going. The day after that I had to take Tiger Lily to the vet and had her euthanized. I tried to stay in the room for the process but I couldn't. I'm not
grieving terribly, tho, she was old and ill, couldn't even keep food in her tummy...it was time.
Then I got a wicked cold a couple of days ago...haven't hardly been able to vape!!!!
I guess I've gotten too old for so much excitement and changes.
But the sun's shining!
Everyone have a great day...I'm gonna be a couch potato....

Just my thoughts so please don't take offense towards Jack's book which I plan on grabbing a copy of. I'm guessing any Royalties would shift to the family so by purchasing it in a small way your helping them ?
Not trying to ignore you, I just have no idea how that (royalties) works. It is definitely a book worth reading though. :)

No idea, same thought occured to me. I'm gonna buy the book instead of the digital, just incase. My reasoning being, the more expensive product generates more revenue hopefully to the fam. Good question.

I just hate it when I'm online and a question goes unanswered for pages and pages.

I love that sign.
I love it too, but can't place it. It will be fun trying to find it now. Leave it to Karen to find the dairy cows.

I haven't caught up, few pages behind @ 40 posts per page. Plus took a break from ecf leading up to this terrible news. And apologize for not responding to all my PMs yet, can only take this in doses. But thank you for your kind words and advice, especially karen.

I took a look at his profile page, which I rarely do, suprised to see he had only 12 friends listed. Proud to be on that list, even if it is just trivial. I left a visitor message for him and finally realized how important that feature is. Encourage ya'll to say something on his wall so that Ratman can send it off to his fam when the time is right.

Gonna lose some man points here when I'm writing this now like looking through beer goggles except I'm not drinking. But I'm trying to think of the good things even if they aren't big moments. I am greatful for this moment here. Please tell me this made him feel good if even for a minute. I have to believe it did.

Thursday May 2nd, 2013 post #568 from the REO lounge.. Recap for the new folks, I made this post when earlier some of the reo vets were discribing injuries, surgeries, and trading war stories. Here is Jacks, orig post that inspired me to thank him publically. post #547 below link

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/411261-reo-lounge-part-iii-14.html#post9415361

When Norman told us about his football injury, I tried to imagine what was going through his head at the time and more importantly, afterwords during the long recovery. Then Jack came along, to throw me for a loop once again. There's very few people on ECF who I will read every word they say from beginning to end while still taking it all in, I'm ashamed to admit. Generally these people I hold under a microscope fall in the catagory of Advocacy, folks on the frontline of legislation & civil litigations, THEN THERE'S JACK. It seems 4 out of every 5 posts this man graces us with I learn something new. From a funny one-liner one night, to a personal account of a tragic moment the next. This man has made me laugh, he has made me think, he has earned my respect on and off these forums, he has made me cry even. Yeah I'm not ashamed to admit it. I never feel more humble than when I run across folks who's lives, or their account of past events, make my own concerns seem petty and childish. Folks like this just drive me forward, like a little angel on your shoulder screaming "stop feeling sorry for yourself." If there was ever a time I wanted to say to a man, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY AND ITS CITIZENS, I would wanna be standing infront of Jack when I say it.

Now in the spirit of all things internet, and so I don't end this post on a mushy note. I present to you fine folks a song about a hedgehog eating a carrot with his head stuck in a toilet paper tube.

I'm just a guy, RHP, who's been around long enough to be in the right places at the right time but who's also been around long enough to know that I don't hold a candle to most of the guys I served with and worked with.

(I can still kick Pietro's ... though... of course so can my granddaughter.)

I couldn't resist so I slapped together a quick coil with the ribbon. Messed up a little bit, came out at 2.3 ohms, not the end of the world but a bit high than I normally make. Seems to vape alright, nothing earth shattering, not sure I really see a difference. Flavor, TH and vapor are all very good but not really any better than round wire, at least not that I see in the few minutes that I've been vaping it.

The fact that it works means I don't have to track down Super_X... I'll just wait till he makes a trip out west, then I'll kill him.

None taken here...but I would assume so, but I guess it all depends on how he had that set up. I've heard of families having to sue over royalties and that would be hellish to do after losing some one so dear.
