My sentiments exactly, dear Jeni!

and if we know Rob and Pietro at all...and we do....they'll use only as little as they possibly can and use the rest for Jack's Vet causes

Rob just needs to keep sweet ~P~ away from Jack's Koa.... oh never mind, that's Nutz...

The Wounded Warrior Project can accept any amount. A one time or monthly. The gift amount can be in Honor of: or In Memory of:. We do it on my son's birthday every year but I'll make sure Jack is included. When its appropriate if someone can send me Jack's family address I can make sure they receive the WWP Blanket.

I would be honored to send money into a paypal acct to help Rob and Pietro be able to go to represent our family here. I don't think there is anything inappropriate in doing this. I think we all would be honored to do this for all of us, them and Jack! If many are like me we feel helpless not being able to do anything. I may not be able to give a lot but would love to be able to contribute. Please let me know if and when this fund is established. I have a paypal acct.
And thank you for also making this possible for us Reonauts to be able to contribute!

Sounds like a great Idea, think I will set up a donation for 5 bucks a month for the year in honor of Jack. Thanks for the information :)

I just took some of my favorite old Boswell pipe tobaccos and started turning them into ejuice. A nice pinch drenched in vg then microwaved for 7 seconds. I'll let them sit for a while and see what happens.

I'm happy to donate to get those guys to jacks service. I think that's an awesome idea to represent our little corner of his life and show some love.

Hope everyone has a great afternoon!

I do hope you have a wizard labs nic test kit or such so that the 2 Ml you will make after a week won't poison you?

ya'll make it sound so simple but I don't think my woman would want me playing with chemicals, she generally keeps me from hurting myself by accident even though she's the one who has trouble handling gravity in the morning. It's the only time I'm allowed to laugh at her and get away with it. Tripping on a pair of sneakers on the way to the bathroom, gadda enjoy the little things in life.

Hello there my friends. Busy day today so far, yard work, dog bathing and grooming, a little spring cleaning and laundry. I need a day off to recuperate from day off!

I was very deeply moved when Kay and Kris contacted me with the idea to help out with the trip to Colorado. I do not want anyone to worry or stress over it though. Especially you Kay!! 'Slow down, you move too fast. Got to make the morning last, just kickin down the cobblestones. Looking for fun and feeling groovy." K?

I have sent a message to my boss about the time off and I do not think that will be an issue. I work for some very good people. I recently sold a motorcycle and was saving the proceeds for a family vacation but talked it over with the family and we decided to dip into the funds to cover the time off and the trip to Colorado. So money for the trip will be there, one way or another. I am not so much worried about that. I am however moved at the response here and the privilege of being able to pay my respects, to a great man in person.

It is even more of an honor to do so representing in some way the great ECF and REO family we have here who could not be there themselves.

Hey Rob! How about we send some funds to your Paypal addie and you use it for the organization that Jack's daughter mentioned?

And , if you have the time between now and when you leave to go there, perhaps take down the name's of those that sent you a little something for Jack's "charity"?But of course that's all up to you.I'm so glad that you and Pietro are going!

Kay I am fine with whatever anyone here in the community wants to do in honor of Jack and happy to help in any way that I can. I will leave that to others to decide what shape and form and method would be best served.

Like we talked about in our PM's, this is not about me or Pietro or anyone making a trip. This is about an opportunity to let Jack's family know how much he meant to us here and how much we loved the old fart. It's about making sure we have someone there to carry our combined respect and affection to his final resting place.

Kudos to you Rob and Pietro. We all appreciate you doing what we are unable to do. I would like to send something and let you both decide how you wish it to be used. Although I would like to see it help cover a little of your expenses. Please someone contact me with a paypal address where this can be sent if it is agreed upon.

G'Day Peeps....finally got a chance to stop by and really stoked that somebody will be attending Jacks' services, even though none of us live up to his lofty standards. LOL, wish I could see the old goat's face when he got wind of this. I am a bit confused with what was discussed here (remember....I'm Nutz) but whatever is decided or undecided count me IN!!!!!. Whenever Kay starts to apologize on things my brain does a double pump then "CRASHES" so excuse the weirdness of my little world.

I know we affectionately refer to Jack as old, ancient, prehistoric, elderly and so forth but I believe he was still relatively young......I'm guessing here maybe 63. Anyone know fer sure? Was Moby .... actually a minnow as he often said in his posts?

Edit:: Okay censor.......Moby Penis

Well, come on now;)...

I'd love those times Jack would pop in to REOville's music thread to gently tease some song or another, or express his approval of some lady or another in the videos;). As for Jack's REOville memorial fund, I do hope that once it's determined whose paypal acct. we're sending our donations to, it'll be posted here. I've just been pestering our dear kaypers, and she must want to swat this little buzzing gnat by now:laugh:!

Well as long as it does not break any ECF rules, and if it does we can find some other way to get around that lets do this. Kay felt it would be easiest and best to send the funds to my Paypal so I gave that info to her. Some donations have already come in there so we may as well keep it all in one place. I will document it in case there is ever any question as to how it will be used when that is determined.

Maybe a poll should be put up or something to determine that? Our government doesn't do a very good job of acting on the will of the people but we can do that here. Let the people who make the donations decide how it will be used by voting in a poll. Just an 'off the top of my head idea' so chime in.

Kaypers has my paypal info and has offered to send it out or you can pm me directly.

I struggled with this at first. It felt like me accepting charity so I could afford to go to the funeral. I realized after talking to some of you privately that it is not. In addition to the reasons already stated previously about representing the people here and showing the family how much we care, it is also about giving people a chance to DO something in a time when people feel helpless and there is not much that can be done.
