Is there any one place better/cheaper than the others to buy Kanthal wire? I'm going to be doing a lot of this. I finally found my special purpose.

Hi, Scott, Hi, Terry. Yeh....that Temco is a good place for wire....cheap and free shipping. Roger, I don't know if Gil's right....fanatic is rather strong (Ha)....but I do like to make coils/wicks......this is the most fun I've had since the days of blue foam. Ha.
You could always buy straight from Temco.
That's where most of the folks on ebay are getting it anyway.

Actually, I think someone did that and they didn't ship out for days and days....whereas if you get it from them off eBay, they hustle. Can't remember where I read that, but it sorta made sense. They don't want negative feedback on eBay. I think they treat the eBay orders differently than they do their "industrial" customer orders. I could be wrong.
I just got some directly from Temco about 3 weeks ago and they had it in the mail the next day.
Cool. It's the same price, and it's free shipping both places. I don't remember where I read that. That's good to know. There's a lot of information on their site about Kanthal wire....it's interesting.

Quick pop-in. Finally going to stop and eat. Movie "Wunderlust." I've seen it but fine again and DH needs some quiet comic relief. Dinner is Baked "BBQ" Beef Paties and creamed spinach and V8 instead of salad because back doesn't want to do any more.

Food not served yet...0012. DH wants to switch to 1983 movie, Steve Martin, Man With Two Brains. He was liking Wunderlust but wanted a little more exciting. (BBQ Paties are like thick, round little meatloafs - smell wonderful.)
