Good morning all! Well...here I am again! I had my first Reo Grand, and sold it 4 days later. The reason I sold it is because I could not get juice to feed without having to press very hard on the bottle...something wasn't right! I've since learned that Vapage slant coil attys should not be used on the Reo. And that's what I initially used! So who knows...maybe I screwed something up.

Another downfall I had was I would get great vape for only about 2 hours, and then I would really struggle to get that "monster" hit. I tried the vapage hybrid atty as I mentioned, as well as genuine Joye LR attys. both having the same result.

So here I am considering trying again! Has anyone truly used an atty that gives them longevity? If anyone is selling a Reo please let me know...I just may consider buying it! Thank you !!

Just buy one and get an RM2 for on top at the same time - job done! If you cannot vape a wooden peg on a Reo you are doing something wrong. So far even i have never managed to balls them up! and how i have tried!

wb - you do know there was a 2 hour window then - imagine that open window all day every day! Just don't live on the 14th floor!

Morning all! Time2quit IMHO (hows that for abbreviations) I only use my RM2 and ERAs 1.5 on my reos. The rm2 gives you lots of builing room and has a nice ceramic plate. I find it is a tad airy for me but I still love it. The era is great for sub ohm builds has a great draw and is a classic. Ive had pretty much all the popular bfs that are attainable, ie cyclone hornet a7.

I just sold my back up reos to new members last week :(

They are. Here is the thing they are not hard to master. I was terrified at rbas and didnt use them for months. I thought I would screw something up and blow up the battery lol.

I would get a rm2, cotton wick, kanthal and an 18 gauge needle. Its really as easy as wrapping wire around the needle and installing. I could give you a hand. Heck maybe ill make a picture guide today since we have so many new reopeople starting.

There is nothing better than enjoying a perfect vape that YOU created and its a heck of a lot cheaper :)

Thanks Steve! What size kanthal do you get? Do you buy all of this from the reo website? Boy, step by step directions would be great!

Ill try and put something together for ya. I wrap micro coils. The video below shows how to use silica. Both are easy I just find the micro coils produce more flavor and vapor. I run 28g. I prefer a .8 or .9 coil. A lot of people prefer a higher ohm. Let me know what your prefered range is and ill taylor my write up for you

Well a straw poll of my mind says that most use 30g Kanthal A-1, make microcoils wrapped aroung a needle or 1/16" drill bit with a cotton ball wick.

I don't, but the point is - whatever floats your boat! If you want a much tighter draw, just use more cotton and block the airhole!

I have never drilled out one to make it more airy, i find it fine as it is. i own a few reos and 11 RM2's - i'm willing to concede that i like shopping and am greedy, but if you buy one and don't like it - i'll make you a deal and pay you the $43 you paid for it in return for sending it to me.

You rock!! I've never tried sub 1.5ohm however 1.5 seems to be nice when it's working right!

i make mine at 1 Ohm - it's not as TH hot and burny (is that even an adjective?) as 0.7 or so. And for HRH - i make them at 2 for her minis etc. You will get more life from your batteries with higher R coils at the expense of a cooler vape.

I do not like airy draw on anything. I have a collection of high to low end RBAs. Many were airy enough I took measures to restrict the air flow. If I couldn't get air flow tight enough in the drawer they went. Some factory attys and cartos were too airy for me when others said they were tigher than they liked. The RM2 was only a smidgen airier than what I consider perfect. It took only less than a three ml bottle of juice for the draw to become perfect for me. Needless to say I never drilled out any cap holes as others did on ERAs and Hornets.

Oh, and, if there is any RBA that exist that is easier to build than RM2 I've never seen mention of it.
