Happy Sunday Reoville!
This past Thursday my friend that got the mini 2.1, he called me desperately, saying he had messed his REO up. On Friday he asked me to take a look at it (mind you he has an Evic, and just couldn't touch the thing much less clearos) He had melted his button but there was no short as the spring was intact. Sparking and arcing, the firing pin was completely clean without any noalox. The coil I made him was a 0.8 ohms but on that battery I think I was pushing it too hard. Made him a 1 ohm micro coil instead and he was a lot happier. Also gave him a 30ml bottle of a tobacco flavored juice I made that he loved. I'm not very good at tobacco flavors if at all, but he described it as "a dry juice, with that hint of jamaican rum, it feels like when I used to drink and have a smoke, it has that cigarette taste and slight menthol exhale". I for once am glad I nailed a tobacco flavor, my last previous attempts were completely unsuccessful.
So moral of the story, once you go REO, you become REO.
I could sympathize though, given I had to wait nearly one week after I shorted my first REO within 12 hours. The agony and pain, it made it that much sweeter when I finally got them working.

I just came from the video vaping thread...a lot of new contributions...that is one awesome thread!!!
(Could it possibly reach the status of a "requirement' for all new Reoites? and the long timers?)
I agree, I can barely take pictures and now you want videos? Not happening!
Oh by the way, sacrilege! I just grabbed an eGo 650 mAh from when I first started vaping and loaded it up with a Vivi Nova. Well, let's just say the only "pleasurable" thing was the nostalgic feeling of that time. I could find a use for it though, rebuild the heads of the Vivi/Protank and just have it there with some juice to refresh my taste buds. I'll be damned if I ever go out with something other than a REO though .
By the way, do not ever try Halo's Subzero on a sub ohm coil. DAMN. I did a 0.7 ohm coil and dripped some in, cannot take it. That's why I want a mini 2.1, for menthol flavors since in those I'd be making 1.2-1.5 ohm coils and probably not vaping them that much so 3ml would suffice.

I really don't have a problem with that but you'll have go thru my agent at the William Morris Agency.
All other mods just become glorified coil testers. It's the natural order.

Thought I'd better drop by and say hi, my first Reo will be here pretty soon.

Anyway, I've ordered a black crinkle Reo Grand with a red metallic cover, an RM2 and the replacement sexy looking button from Rob. I've had a Vmod mini in daily use for a few months now, which I love. I know I'm gonna love the Reo even more
So I'm basically a Reo newbie, but a squonking veteran. Looking forward to slapping a nice cotton micro or mini coil on this bad boy

is it of the opinion of those who have tried it that a 18650 2000 mah battery can handle the load of a 0.79 ohm coil ???
Can't vape at Dennys, folks. Manager told me she has to go outside just like everyone else. Their blueberry pancakes keep me coming back, anyway. I also have some attys coming in the mail so I'm excited about that. Lead times are 10-14 days so who knows when they will actually arrive but atleast the wheels are in motion.

Congrats! You'll find squonking so much better on the REO as you don't have to tip it. And welcome aboard pics when you get it of course!

Great to know that they last! I'm thinking of picking up a pair of the 1460's for work around Christmas time (or maybe Black Friday if there's a sale) since my current work shoes are horribly worn out.- Status
