REO came today. I think it's a bit borked. I haven't had a battery in it yet so I can honestly say I didn't do anything. The positive contact looks bent to me.

And the locking tab on the fire button is broken.

I think the P.O. had Ry4 in it.

I'm not sure if I'm grumpy yet.

How come you took it apart?

Firing plate can deform some from excessive button mashing.

There is supposed to be a turned down point where it makes contact with button. Also, some people remove or push in the little locking pin on purpose. Due to the powder coat it can't be very old.

You can remove some, but not every, residual flavors in fitting, tube, bottle, and cap oring. Flush tube well with iso alcohol, soak bottle, cap, and removed oring in alcohol for at least an hour, rubbing oring in fingers. (May take longer) let oring dry. Rinse all in hot water forcing hot water through fitting down through tube. Air dry. Assemble.

I'm not certain and others can comment..... pulling the firing plate out so far and around might cause some damage. I'd never do that unless I was ready to do a rebuild.

At any rate hope it's okay and congratulations.

Damn that is hot. I guess I cant complain anymore. How on earth do you acclimate to 114?

That is why man invented air conditioning and cars. You simply go from one to the other without collecting "Go" It's hot right now, 110.2 according to the thermometer DH put on the patio. I am personally in 70 degrees right where I should be, inside. :D

I would like to know how people can acclimate to that cold, wet, white stuff that falls from the sky in winter in some places people actually live and not just go to visit!

Another thing I routinely do to get noxious (to me) residual flavors out of tube, fitting, is to, after previos mentioned cleaning, leave oring out of cap, put cap back on, fill bottle to top with iso, screw bottle on, and fill the remainder of tubing with syringe squeezing and releasing bottle a little bit while forcing iso in and all the way to fitting. Let sit for day to days, topping up.

That firing pin looks exactly like it's supposed to (aside from you twisting it around). As for the locking button, it's not really a big deal. Most people complain that they are accidentally locking the button all the time. It's rather hard to accidentally push the firing button even in a pocket.

^^ what Parma said. I used to push the locking pin into the firing pin to stop it locking rather than to try to grab it and remove it completely, on account of my ability to melt the pins - if they don't lock i can constantly rotate them.

RHP and MW - i vaped at 24mg for ages - easily 6 months - then went down to 18 when i got the RM2 since it just seemed to kick harder. Normally now i run at about 12mg, for no other reason than i like the flavour best at about that level. I have no intention of stopping vaping and don't really care how much or how little i vape. I'm rather fond of walking around at work leaving contrails.

Becky - thank you for your kind words as well as those of a number of you on here, but there really are a lot of people in far worse shape than me (although i hate hospitals and have no wish to repeat the experience). The high point of the entire episode, that made me really wish i had a camera - was a heavily pregnant woman of maybe 20, going outside with a packet of Marlboro Lights and smoking one sat on the wall of the building opposite. From where i vaped you could see the sign on the entire front of that building: "LUNG CENTER".

This weekend i'll do the things i promised to do last. Starting with going into work for a bit tomorrow.

I love sales. I thought the " ECF coupons thread" was going to become a viable source of ongoing bargains. Alas, it is not so. I check out "Pay it Forward" almost daily and it has some useful links. Any other bargain vape threads worth checking out?

vaporjoes.com is an outstanding website. He puts up deals everyday, sometimes multiple deals. I actually got 4 panny 18650 2250 mah batteries from a deal he posted. Came out to 25 dollars. Recent deals include the Davide glassomizer for $12, the k100 mech for $23, and the IGO-L for $8.

But i am only interested in high dollar gear few people have, will nobody apart from caravella and GG cater for me?

OK - i lied - i just bought a voltage tester, but i'm more than happy to pay $5 per mL of liquid as long as it has a brand name i trust.

OR: i have a few Reos, make my own juice (some old mountain dude taught me) and my own coils. I make more money than my wife can spend cos i'm not blowing it all on cigarettes.

Thanks a lot!
I can see right off the bat I'll be happy there.:)
