Just waving hello to you all, ditching most notes for a while, as the sitting upright thing is still tricky for this tabletless Reonaut, and we've also been thrown a couple real curveballs here the last couple days.
Happy belated birthday to fatherdano! Hope you and your big well-fed crew did something special.
Great looking new REOs, smuro and Eatenback2life, and welcome to the Lounge, Lombaowski, Matthew, and Eaten!
Laurin, I LOVE the REOs you made for Jan and the one that now graces Jen's avi.
First to make me drool in this catch-up - malkuth's homemade empanadas; immediate remedy - Trunker making me remember eating haggis.
So glad your internet connection is back up and running, Maggie; as you know, I'm a big fan of your posts; love that there's plenty of quirkiness in the hokey pokey of the REOfam's thread.
Hallelujuh, indeed, that baby RHP survived that very freaky close call!
Happy travels to Papaw, Alice, and time2quit.
Good to see mousie and Val again; still hoping I'll see Dave and Nutz in a catch-up soon.

Scotty, I feel sleepy, alittle cranky too. I don't like Thursdays but it's ok when I'm in REOland. I just hate being awake before the birds. I'm going to be dragging all day now. But the weather is supposed to be very nice these coming days so I'm going to take advantage of that and give my woman a little more dose of RHP than before. Walks in the park, window shopping, go to the movies and cry, girlie things like that.

Nah, not fusion. I just used garlic and onion powder, brown sugar, salt, rosemary, herbs de provence, and a little of that japanese hot spicy powder with some olive oil. Spatchcocked the chicken, rubbed it all over, then threw it back in the meat drawer to ponder it's sins a bit before it hits the hot grill and is bricked tomorrow at sunset

This is not a REO but quite honestly, she could have just made the video with nothing in her hand and it would have been good I need to go to bed now, folks!

Hello RHP and Sterno, doing OK for 3am. On second cup of coffee, so it's time to suit up and get at it.

A little too much excitement for the night.

We are fine. Short story.... we were acousted by a 20 something very drunken passive-agressive guy, who followed us from elevator to our hotel room and demanded we open the door. DH "worked" with him while I struggled to find my phone to call 911. While on the phone with 911 he put his arms around DH. I stepped up and gave him the "back off" which gave DH a chance to draw his gun. He was up in our faces for about 20 minutes even with a gun on him. Finally, after he touched me a few times I put a one handed choke on him, with phone and police in other hand, and he went down for about 60 seconds. It went on and he kept daring DH to shoot him. To be continued. He's in jail and no one hurt.

Wish I had Jack to 'splain this for me and do it justice.

Thanks. So glad we didn't have to shoot him or he didn't cold .... me when I was choking him. Legal hassles for life. He's enlisted and when police came back to give us an update they said his sergent was in room next to him. He had a gun in his room and has concealed license but didn't have gun on him. He'd have been in a ....ze load of trouble being intoxicated and carrying. Plus he probably would be dead if he pulled out a gun. First time DH has pulled a gun on anyone.

This guy accosted an "elderly" couple. What in the flip was he not thinking.

Thought I was tired enough to not need anything to sleep. Gotta dig out the valium.

So proud of DH for being so calm. He just said, "I feel like I'm back on the psyc ward again." And rolled over to try to sleep. Work tomorrow too soon.
