0300. Only 4-5 more hours before humans start stirring. Sissy will get in 8-9 hours sleep so 1000 I should be able to hit my cave upstsirs ( under bunk bed in kid's room.) Gonna start hoover floor mate to give her hint to continue. BTW... she got a lot of much needed woodwork and fan cleaning done although she didn't use the ladders. Two of the fans need 8 ft ladders to clean safely but she didn't use them. I can't convince her how much it stresses me that she takes such risks.

Alice, aren't you ever scared to go out at night? I am, even with the lighting it is still dark in the woods

I was on youtube and found a old favorite song with Helen Reddy singing, I am Woman, hear me roar Now its stuck in my head.I put it in my favorites :)

No I'm not scared by much. I sometimes get a little creeped about the so many times I've run low voltage cables below the pool, around the vine covered retaining walls, with so many snakes all around. Being filled with wine made me braver. I did get a Copperhead strike earlier this yesr in least expected spot. My closest calls have been Copperheads inside, almost stepping on them or coiled up in door jam ready to strike. The Rattlesnakes warn. Corals have such small mouths they can't bite unless handling.

We don't hace bears and supposidly pumas. So far Coyotes, fox, and Bobcats are afraid of humsns. I'm pretty "friendly" with the possums and raccoons. I can get within a few feet of them. The armadillos startle me but typically are more scared of me. Any wandering humans are typically scared off by the dogs. I've been bitten or stung by just about everthing except the Tarantula Hawks which are supposed to be among the five most painful stings worldwide.

I've swam with many sharks. The most lethal sea creature I've encountered is various jellyfish. I have some allergic reactions beyond typical deadly stings from some jellyfish.

Don't get me wrong, please. I'm not fearless but everything needs to be kept in perspective.

BTW.... Very Crucial!!!!!!! After coming so close to having to kill a human the other night DH and I are going to carry good mace, as first line defence, hoping to avoid being in the situation of only having choice of killing as only option.

I have more fear of humans than much of the kingdom of wildlife.

((((Alice)))) I don't even know what to say....just hugs and I hope tomorrow is better.

Good to see Lisa for a second!

Morning, Maggie!

Thanks Jen. What in the hell are you doing awake? Silly me to ask.

I'm clearing things out of closet to set shelves, then hot tub, and then zero gravity lounger in the closet and big sign on door to not disturb me till I come out later in day. Will get DH's letter off before 1700 but only responsibility for "them" until later in day. The Bubs are running 20 ft away when I open outside doors but aporoach me otherwise. Moe is staying pretty low key; almost hiding. He's getting no snuggling from me for a while. Over permissive "mom" is on vacation.

In past I've run off only if for hours. Can't do that to DH any more. I've a mind to borrow your trailer and head out to east Texas and damned be to everything. Have to put up some fencing for Bubs, though. But can't do anything till Oct when there might be major forced changes beyond our control. I'm tired but not yet defeated.

Who'd a thunk it?! Somehow, in spite of myself, I've managed to live for 70 years as of today. And I've been blessed with the freedom from analogs for almost the last four. I knew in my very soul that I would die hooked to oxygen and taking a drag on a cig with my very last breath. Today I went for a long walk with some new friends and went to the exercise class in the social room! And i've been blessed with sooo many really great people here in Reoville.

And i'm feelin' full of piss n vinegar!

edit; had the smilie in the wrong place!
