Quick drive by today. Busy busy day today. Dr appointments with DW and DD, work squeezed in between and picking up school schedules during the narrow window of opportunity they provide. Be glad when things get back to normal next week.

Anyone have any personal experience with HCG shots for weight loss under an actual Drs supervision? Hype or real deal?

Most hCG diet plans restrict dieters to only 500 calories per day of mostly organic, unprocessed foods along with the hCG injections or serum drops under the tongue (note: The oral hCG may contain little, if any, hCG). Follow the plan for 45 days straight, you will fix your metabolism, and lose several pounds a day, so the advertisements claim.

That's unlikely, say diet and nutrition experts. You will lose weight on the hCG diets but the weight loss will be the result of the very low-calorie or starvation-like diet, not the hCG.

Since switching to the Primal way of eating I have had great results. I did not do it to lose weight. But I did realize that I would. I have lost about 25lbs since January when I started. My daughter has lost 25lbs in three months.

My other daughter and her husband and 4 kids are Primal eaters also.

It makes so much difference when our bodies are fed healthy food that we were made to eat. I have also gone gluten/wheat free. All together I feel much better, and my body works better.

I had a blood test done in November. I just had one done this month. There were several changes for the better. I was heading towards diabetes, that has now changed.

I would urge anyone to look over the Primal way of eating. It really does work.

Morning all!
My jiu jitsu coach, who is a fitness instructor for Nike also, always says the secret to weight loss is move more, eat less. He usually follows that with don't tell anyone.

Sound advice.

If you don't want to go full on Primal, just figure out which foods that are high in protein and/or fiber, and low in carbs and fat, that you enjoy, and make them the major portion of every meal and snack. After a few days of focusing on lean protein, you'll most likely find your hunger pains and cravings between meals and snacks will subside substantially. Bread, potatoes, and rice are the enemy if you want to drop some weight by fine tuning your diet.

I've dropped 10lbs in the last 4 or 5 weeks just by cutting back on the carbs and upping my intake of protein. I really should be exercising and strength training, but I'm a lazy schmuck.

Good evening everyone :) Just bought a deck chair for Gatlin and a double bench for big peeps The little one was perfect but I found the legs on the big one were not right teach me to buy wooden furniture made by a 92 year old
dont worry Kay I will get Ed trained on my 48" saw when he comes here :D

You probably need to get those wooden leg extenders or shorten your legs....

I'd opt for the extenders..
