ECF is my first forum or message board. When I started vaping I did the usual google search for electronic cigarettes. I kept seeing ECF but did not want to get on a forum. Finally found that it was about the only place to get information and learn.

The REO forum was where I found a connection. It is hard to believe I have visited almost every day for over 2 years.

I love to see people join in and stay around. It is very easy to accept new "family" members!

Even someone like me who started right off the bat raising hell!

Val...if you're gonna talk about WD, could you try to show a little enthusiasm?:D

( I don't know how I'm managing to get anything done...I'm glued to the tv!)

But I tell you what...if they "off' the farmer I'm gonna be really ......!

Oh...and now I understand the time differences in here now:facepalm: so I won't let out any really really good parts!

I think they might though, since they handicapped him :(

Then all you're missing is season 3...tonight! I'm primed up for season 4...wondering which character is gonna be zombiefied....

I am on pins and needles and keep saying, "If they kill (insert character here) I am not gonna watch anymore!" But you know I will still watch to see what the others do

In the comic Rick lost a hand, they really like amputations so I am prepared for that if it saves his life.

This is a hard one to watch...when...err...ummm...someone gets killed in a really horrific manner....

NO! I ain't tellin who it is either!:p

I think the worst for me was when they were making a pet and took the teeth out. That really did it for me! The writing is so creative sometimes

If not for the story and character building, I wouldn't even like it. It isn't my usual genre.

I don't have a teddy bear but I leave all the lights on...even when I can finally go to bed...and i have my pistol to snuggle with.

Not nearly as cuddly tho...

Yeah, pistols aren't known to be very cuddly

Thanks for the greetings everyone. RHP, and everyone else, feel free to call me Sbm or Saleem. I'm definitely digging my new toy, but I'm realizing I need to go get myself a meter for both batteries and coils.

My weekend plan is to figure out what coil I like. I thought .9 was too hot, but now the 1.4 I built seems too cool. Maybe I'll try a 1.1 or 1.2 build. I already burnt my first wick, so in thinking of trying out the stainless mesh I got. I've got a much wider mesh than most use, bc I'm vaping 100%vg. We'll see how that works. I've never used it before. It's good to have a 3day weekend.

Sent from my mobile

A lot of people actually like REO's that use VG. I use as much VG as possible, but my flavorings are PG so I usually add just a bit to get it to 20/80. I can't tolerate high PG, it makes my throat feel like it is closing up, even though I know it isn't a true anaphylactic reaction, it is still uncomfortable for me.

I saw a thread with someone using the mesh, I haven't tried it. The cotton takes some serious squonking to keep it really wet, I usually squonk almost every pull.

Good advice, i need all that anyone has to offer. I am reading about how to train chickens to go to their coop. That is another reason to wait for spring or summer so it gets all set up.

when chickens are young you can use food or treats to gather them, they catch on fast.
I can go out and yell Chick chick and have a fowl stampede heading at me because they know I have food or treats.
If I need to put them up I'll call them then drop food as I go in the pen, they me follow right in.
In the evening they will go back to the pen to roost before dark, I just go out and shut the door right at dark.
I live out in the sticks and have to have a predator proof pen, coyotes, fox, raccoon, possum stray dogs and even hawks have got them before.
These pictures are the new pen as it was being built, the wire on the ground around whole building was later covered so nothing can dig under the pen. Don't have pictures of the finished pen but one end " 8x10 " area was insulated with windows and 6 nest boxes accessible from the outside.
Backyard chickens website is a good place to learn about raising and keeping chickens :)

I'll be right there with you Val, terrified and all....

Where have you been since Monday night! I have been watching the whole thing. It gets to you after a while, the first 2 nights I fell asleep before they finished, but last night couldn't sleep even with the cuddle pistol! I actually did make sure it was handy. When I watch it I always get so nervous I have a glass of wine so that might have had something to do with the falling asleep

I never fall asleep when the new ones air though. They are so unpredictable! And the previews they are showing don't tell us much do they?

No they don't, the brats ( meaning the previews)!I've been watching the whole thing, too. This time I had to turn my head sometimes from all the gore...go figure! Didn't faze me at all the first 3 or 4 times i watched all the eppies! I DVR them so that I can watch the really horrendous eppies during the daylight hours!

When the new series starts i'm gonna have to leave all the lights on again and keep my pistol by my chair...the one that faces the windows:facepalm:

WD doesnt come on untill 7 tonight here

It is 8 pm here. And last season I could watch it on a different channel at 6, then watch it again at 9, but they took that away so I will have to wait until 9 pm pacific for the new ones.

I have them all too. But I still watch the marathon. I watch something else for a while so I can wait to watch it and fast forward through the parts I don't like. For instance, the whole suicide prevention thing is drivel and I don't bother listening to her whining. Again.

That would be the 3rd season, scott?

Keep the lights on and Oscar close!

Yep, 3rd is starting tonight.

Scott, it gets a bit "out there" with the new characters they introduce. Some bad, some good, some we know and already hate

I can really understand that!

We didn't eat our ducks, geese or pigeons, just the duck eggs. And we had a male, so fertilized meant sometimes balut which I do not ever want to experience! To this day I am super picky about how I like my eggs done, and won't have them scrambled because I want to see that there are no feathers in them

I feel the same way about any animal though. It just depends on what the animal owner's intentions are as to why they are raising livestock: are they pets or food? My sister named all her stock things like "Dinner" and "Pork Chop" so her kids would be clear on what their destiny was. Different cultures have such different views on food and eating and I try to keep an open mind on all food. When I went to China and Thailand all bets on dog and cat were off, I didn't know them and they were being raised for food so why not try them? I never did find any "snak" or "meow" though. Much to DH's relief. I am an adventurous eater though, I will try (almost) anything once. I don't want to eat brains because of prions for instance. But I did get to try durian and it wasn't bad! Half the things I really love most people might not want to even try. When I watch that Zimmern guy's show on strange eats (can't remember the title) I am usually saying, "Hey, that isn't strange, it's good!".

lol i ate fried squid once and it looked gross like circumcisions eek and it was too chewy. The more i chewed the bigger it got. My boss just laughed at me. She fed me every night mostly stir fried dishes. She was from Japan so i got to eat insects too :)

I actually like squid, and octopus also. When it isn't cooked properly, the texture can be chewy though. I have never attempted it myself because DH doesn't like the texture if it is wrong, and I am sure it takes practice to get it right. One of my favorite dishes is squid noodles in uni sauce. Not something I could ever afford to make at home and screw up!

That chicken coop is very nicely done. One never knows what talents people have here in REOville, and it looks like Bob has some serious talent at keeping chickens!

I'm so jealous of all of you getting to watch WD marathon and episodes when the air. I really need to get satellite for my truck but hate the idea of paying for cable at home and satellite for my truck.
I could be wrong... But, can't you stream them with your cable account online? Some cable companies allow that. You have to sign into your cable account to do it.

SO, just to SAY IT AGAIN, when the new episodes air Dave has asked us NOT to discuss them until he gets home to watch them. I will try very hard to not give any spoilers Dave.

I think Karen and I might have to PM or call each other, as we are both watching it alone! DH gets up so early, it is difficult for him to stay up that late to watch them and now we can't catch the 6 pm airing, I can guarantee that even if he tries he will be snoring half way through. That man can sleep through anything :(

I can do that on HBO go but hadn't thought about it. Although running that much internet it's easy to go over on my air cards limit. And i speak from experience when i say that's costly! I get 12 gig a month and i can burn through that in about 12 hours of movie watching if not careful.
