Well yeah, I roast mine too... BUT I wanna try crock potting it for the kicks and whistles with my brand spanking new toy :D

If I am reading it right, you are saying take the skin off after cooking and broil it on a cookie sheet AND KEEP MY EYE ON IT?

yes, keep your eye on the broiler, it's fascinating!

I really need to get some kinda life...

Good Morning REOVille. Gotta head out for a couple of days, and Snow in WV is NOT what I wanted to hear. Oh well, Flat Top here I come !
Anyways, I do hope Everyone in REOVille has a Safe and Blessed Day :)

You too, please drive safely!

I wonder if you and Dave have ever crossed highways?

so Val is it your knees you have trouble with and how are you doing ?

Yes, I shattered my left kneecap. The way they fix that is they wire it back together, but the wires were poking out and hitting a nerve on the underside of my skin, so they did a "revision". But then the wires poked out elsewhere, so I couldn't bend my leg for a year until they were able to take it out. Then it grew wrong, and developed a "kickstand" which grew into the groove where the kneecap was supposed to slide. That was the 4th surgery back in February. After all of that, it is a mess of scar tissue and painful with every step. It hurts on a good day, but is terrible on a bad day. And I gained a lot of weight since the accident from sitting on my .... all the time from the pain, which doesn't help out a bit

And that is how this RN was forced into early retirement. If you can't run, walk and bend you certainly can't nurse patients.

Which is probably a lot more than you were asking, but there it is.

Thanks Den.

Just know that the mafia had it right when they got the idea to kneecap people. As Carla (WD season 4, episode 1) says, "you don't get to come back" from that kind of injury at my age.

So how are you doing tonight?
