Speaking of which...this just reminded me of a childhood memory....
After my trucker/sailor/longshoreman of a dad taught me every swear word in the book including the implied meanings and literal meanings (I must have been about 5 years old at the time), he then suggested that when trading barbs with the neighborhood boys that I simply call them "chicken liver feather butts." :glare: Ya right...you just gave me enough ammo to last for a life time and you want me to lob candy coated insults at those losers??? Needless to say, those words never passed these lips....only the good juicy ones.
Lisa, in my job, I've come to know all the bad words and have even made up some myself. I have never been called a chicken liver feather .... and in my younger fighting days, I think I would have puffed right up after being called that. Don't underestimate that insult.:)

About the same here. I still have to give conscious thought to speak without throwing in a few choice words. Get me really mad and it comes out pretty freely. My friends say that at least they don't have to wonder what's on my mind!

But you have to admit that if you spoke those words, your friends would be thoroughly confused.:laugh: My friends too, never wonder what is going through my head. It's a good thing I have a backspace button to use here...just wish sometimes I had one for my mouth as well.

aw, so sorry little kitty you are way cuter than a chicken!

watch it, Peggy... we both now know where that can lead to... :)

on a positive note, all of the fowl language in the Lounge tonight drove me to take a little walk in order to recover and cool down, which then led me to remember i forgot to check my mail today. in addition to some mini A7's from Ed (thank you, sir), my latest Reo-- a Grand from the classies.

it's actually a bit of a "rescue Grand". it may require some TLC before it reaches it's ultimate home :)

precisely!!!!

so, you like attending them Socal vapemeets, eh? hmmmm....

Bob57- you're next on my list... Monkey? we're good. you already kinda scare me...
:)

The first was in Vegas where I got to meet Pietro and some other very nice vapers. Then Vapetoberfest in Long Beach where I got to meet darkzero and met up with wharf rat again. I won an iPad! So, in that respect, yes I like them. It's kind of like the bike rallies, it's a lot of the same vendors, but it is the People I like to meet.

I think I would have enjoyed them much more before the REO though, when I was still into trying new things

dang. those were your first two vapemeets? so much for my creepy stalker ninja skills...

you're gonna definitely love the ipad. it's my fellow couch potato. fair warning: it's seductive to get into the habit of using the ipad to provide distraction during tv commercials. certain of us teeny-tiny brained ones occasionally struggle to remember to watch the show when the commercial is over :)

that is pretty much the extent of my ipad knowledge...

Everyone I have mentioned it to say they love theirs, so I am expecting I will also. I think it is a mini? I haven't been in the Apple world since my iPod, and don't have anything Apple loaded on the laptop (and at this point don't want to) so I will have to wait until it gets here to figure out what apps, etc. I need.

Do you have any apps to recommend?
