i mainly use it for browsing, loafing, and a few stock market apps. i received mine as the move-in bonus when i rented this apartment. my intent was to give it to my eldest daughter, since i wasn't an apple person. within a 1/2 hour of playing with the one i got, i ran out and bought her a new one

Dennis, I haven't played the stock market before because you need money for that unless you're into one of those fantasy stock market apps but have you been able to make any money using your Vaper IQ like investing money in Dr. Pepper or Cherry Coke because of the booming e-cigarette industry?

Are the stock market apps proprietary to the brokerage(s) you use? Or do you have a tracker type program? Here on the laptop I have an app on my home screen that tracks my individual stocks as well as mutual funds all in one place since I not only diversify among stocks/mutuals but brokerages as well. I love it as it allows me to enter my cost basis as well as number of shares and calculates my totals and then aggregate totals. I am a CNBC watching gal, I usually have it on all day when I am home

At LaQuinta with Jake Mastiff. He settled in really fast when he was allowed to get on bed.
I told desk he is service dog but when we went up to room we saw guy with dog going to his room and dawned on me that LaQuinta has been pet friendly for decades. We used them lots dog showing.

i haven't bought any proprietary apps.
up until 2 weeks ago when i received my first social security check, my sole source of income (or loss) has been from the market for the last 4-5 years. more often than not, if i'm not here spewing my usual trash, i'm researching stocks in another browser.
ameritrade gives me a live CNBC feed in a browser window (at least on my PC). Fidelity and Scottrade give me a few extra research alternatives. i use Optionshouse for my semi-day-trading, because i trade options nearly every day. ameritrade and optionshouse have decent ipad apps. i've only used the PC for the other accounts. because i trade so much, it's easier for me to just use Excel to track everything (Val).
i am also a CNBC junkie.
Pat: last week i almost sold some puts on one of the BT companies, but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger... mebbe next week however. it'd be nice to get some $$$ back from them bastids....
now, if Robert were to go public...

Jake Mastiff isn't allowed on beds at home. He just moved a bit and now instead of 24" on king bed I have a whole 30". He says he could really get into this bed thing.

That's why I have one of those big ol' antique cast iron bathtubs.
I notice that once i get a chill on, I can't get warm so I hop in a hot bath, it raises body temp quite a bit, and lasts many hours into the day.
2x a week I do epsom salts plus baking soda.......very nice cleanse, stick a little essential oil in there like lavendar.
Drink hot liquids, too. Lots of green and herbal teas. You have to work from inside out sometimes.

My dog woke me up cause she loves to go out when it is cold.So now i am looking for a movie to watch while the heater warms up my bedroom for a while. I never leave my heater on when going to sleep.It is a space heater and has a tip over safety feature but i don't trust it. Netflix doesn't have The 13 Warrior

Frank. & Earl manage to take up about 75% of our king size bed leaving The Evil One as the filling of a Bassett sandwich and me clinging to my 20" on the side ;p On a semi-related note: I really need to lose some more weight...or build a bed extension for my "side"
