The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
My can't isn't miserable. I doubt Oscar is either.

as for self-centered, well, dogs waking you up at 0300 isn't exactly UNself-centered is it?

I wanted to ask you though, Simba always looks very clean and pretty. She must like water then? How often do you have to give her a bath because she always seems to look good. Our stupid dog hates water :(

Simba is a dink dog  Bailey is my ...... I bathe them every 3 months or so. They keep themselves pretty clean plus lots of running in the bush helps keep the coats clean plus good food is vital oh and they rarely wake me unles unwanteds are in the yard :D.

i have a better idea! a dog that she looks after and a cat that sneers at me!

flaw: i'd need to butcher my banner Kay Kay style to make enough to buy us each a house! Oh wait that's what divorce is for - so i live in penury and she has a flexphone and a dog with floppy ears.

benefits: hang on a second - who gets my car? Maybe i can just grow floppy ears with kanthal in them to receive radio waves - problem solved. And the cat...well he'll live happily ever after!

T

outcome: since my word is law (har har) she'll do as she likes i imagine

I don't understand how that can be. Without a weekly bath, our dog is filthy and stinky from laying in fertilizer or who knows what kind of dirt she finds all day. I just don't GET IT! She has to find the most repulsive place and rub all over herself.

Come to think of it though, I washed her inside bed on Thursday, and she wouldn't lay in it. She got a bath today and is laying in it now. I guess she didn't want to get her bed all dirty, which I DO get. Even she knew she was disgustingly in need of a bath

I remember dos it was great

i dunno! early basic was better a lot more peeking and poking going down then, not to mention a bit of RAM - but i had hair then! It's easy to see why there is a lack of female coders - they all went to crap like COBOL! ugh! rots your brains!

I remember dos it was great

when Windows and OS/2 first came out my thought was "dammit who needs this graphical fifi crap and this useless mouse thingie. we just need a DOS that breaks the 640K limit."

a few years before Windows, a buddy got a Commodore Amiga-- an early adopter of Graphical User Interface with a mouse. He kept trying to get me to go into business making "mouse houses"-- a neat little place to store your mouse when not in use. nope, i wisely said. shortly after Windows took off, every freakin computer store on the planet sold cute furry mouse houses for a year or so.

another fortune squandered :)

My computers growing up were: Commodore Vic 20 -> Commodore 64 -> Franklin Ace 2200 Apple II Compatible (512k of RAM and dual 5 1/4 inch floppy drives!).

Then my Dad bought a Macintosh Powerbook 165C, and he's been all Mac ever since. I bought a Macintosh Centris 650, then Dad gave me his Macintosh Performa 6400, then I bought a G4 Power Mac, then a Mac Mini (which I still have and use), and a custom built Windows 7 gaming/media PC (Which I'm typing on right now.).
