Howdy Gang! Well, after getting lost in the mail, my Reo finally reached my house a week and a half later. However i wasnt here. There was an attempt on Sat and I came home to discover...yes.....the Dreaded Pink Slip! ARGHHHH View attachment 266259
thinkorswim is too frustrating. most of it's "documentation" is in videos which i don't have the patience for. i don't do many spreads-- mostly just puts and calls, so the web interface works good enough.
optionshouse has low fees for stocks and especially options. so far this month i've done 70 trades in that account. the fees for any of the other brokerages would have been prohibitive for a lot of those trades. most of the trades are in weekly options and often the profit goal can be as little as $100.
for an investor (not so much a trader), one of the best sources of info is a site called Seeking Alpha. i read a lot there every day for the "investor" part of my portfolio.
glad you're starting to feel better!

you'll get Mal all teary eyed here, but i had a C64!
T
A C64! Holy crap!
Is that good???
rather worse than the Kray XK7 i type this from - but at the time a good little machine for the money! My father's money!
It was acclaimed as a gaming machine back in 1982!
T
you can just get an emulator Dennis and be 30 years younger! i think there's even a whack-a-mole game but you can substitute chickens ofc.
T
i actually didn't use it much for games. with my usual impeccable timing, i decided that an app that gave that "game machine" a business-oriented operating system would sell. at the time the dominant business OS was called CP/M. so i spent god knows how many months writing a version and put it in a cartridge.
right about the time i finished it, IBM came out with the PC. bye-bye CP/M... bye-bye early retirement![]()
i once had the pleasure to fix a cp/m machine. For those of you that have no idea what we are on about we are geeks and cp/m was before DOS and Windoze!
It has little LEDs on the board to help you fault find! Fun!
T
Were they expensive? Was there a internet back then?
I got a webtv in 1998 and it cost almost 300 bucks smh But it was so worth it to me because computers were expensive and at the time i thought only geeks could use them![]()
Trunker get a dog. Not a fifi dog but a real mans dog I promise you it's worth it. Even when Smurf isn't taking to you, you will know someone will love youCats aren't like that they are miserable self centered animals Although they do make good dog toys
