ohm Thanks
and is it true the lower the ohm the hotter the vapor?
Good afternoon everyone! Today makes one year smoke free for me.

Smoked cigarettes and an occasional cigar for 36 years. I am very happily vaping and love my Reo Grand.
Way to Go Johni !

Hopefully you didn't gain 30 pounds in the last year! (don't know where that came from

)
loli; It's called Ohm's Law. (Voltage X Voltage) divided by Ohms = Wattage. Example- I've built a 1.7 Ohm coil for my mini 2.1 (3.9 V battery), so 3.9 X3.9 = 15.21, then divide 15.21 by 1.7 = 8.95 Watts. I am applying roughly 9 watts to the coil. Lowering the ohms OR increasing the voltage will make the COIL Hotter.
My personal experience on this- No matter how hot you fire your mods, your e-liquid's "sweet spot" stays the same. When I was building coils around 0.8 and even 0.7 ohms, I was getting TONS of vapor.... but lost the flavor of my favorite juices. I still order most of my e-liquids from HHV, and for me personally I like their juices at eight to nine Watts. So now I try to build coils that reflect my favorite e-liquid's "sweet spot".
If you are mixing your own 36mg nicotine unflavored juices, I guess there is no sweet spot. But Increasing Wattage will produce more vapor. How's that for confusing ? Just my thoughts, worth what you paid for them.
And ... Good Morning REOVille ! Have a Safe and Blessed Day
