I am staying warm. Worried about Karen though, she has record low temps.

I cant wait to see Peggy's new pups either.

Sweetie, I am fine!

Nothing this old grandma can't take! I only went out and about twice.

Today is getting up to 27 so our record lows are over for now.

Well, I saw her posting earlier...and didn't seem distressed. I'm sure she's got all her contingencies in place and she'll be posting again in the morning, safe, sound & griping about the cold.

Good morning Lisa! Did I gripe before?

I am sorry. I thought I might have just complained a little! LOL!

My heaviest winter coat was wonderfully warm. Only noticed my hands got cold before I put on my gloves.

Good Morning Reoville!

All is well this morning! Back to normal winter temperatures.

Here at work till tomorrow morning as usual.

I am loving my new Hot Spot for internet here at work. It is doing quite well and has very decent speed. For this price it is a win so far!

Really hope all are safe and mucking through this winter weather.

Watch for sunny days, cherish them, cause it may be cold but they sure make the gloom fade!

Good morning everyone!

Thought for the day:

My mother drew a distinction between achievement and success. She said that achievement is the knowledge that you have studied and worked hard and done the best that is in you. Success is being praised by others. That is nice but not as important or satisfying. Always aim for achievement and forget about success.

Good morning Reo-fam. Wind chill of 4 here. I guess thats better than -40 which was our low so far this year. Pipes are frozen solid. Theyre all heat taped but either it failed or was overwhelmed. Not sure until I get out there. Those of you in inclement weather, please be prepared for the worst.

Good morning peeps:)
1 pipe burst yesterday. Fortunately, it's backyard spigot and I shut it off just inside the water heater closet.
I can repair it when it warms up.
Our lake has frozen over, really beautiful:) The geese all huddled together on the ice was cool to watch this morning.
Hope everyone is fairing well.
Buddy.

Good morning Reoville:)

Sorry about the pipe Element but if it's gonna happen, I guess that's a good place for it to happen

We are finally in a warm up. Gonna get out the house for the first time in days. :w00t:

This is nuts...I would love to find out more about this. Anyone know where or how this happened? Sorry about the fb link. Can't find this anywhere else on the web....yet.

WOW! I hope that guy has flood insurance, if that would even be considered a flood? It's like an iceberg advancing!!

Good morning REOvillians. I am off to the torture chamber. I hope your day goes much better than ^ guys did :)

kill it with FIRE

 I know, right? As soon as I realized it was ice, the first thing I thought of was BLOCK YOUR PATIO DOORS AND GET READY TO SCRAMBLE!!! My brain immediately started to try to quantify the amount of energy contained in the ice and how much damage it could do. It was cool for the first 20 seconds of the video...then it was scary.

Good luck with PT, Val!

Thanks Lisa, I am going to need it! I was in so much pain again last night I wasn't sleeping, so took a pain pill. I sure hope it behaves today, because the only thing I did yesterday was normal household stuff and a little shopping at Petco, nothing out of the ordinary at all :(

Hopefully this next round will be less painful, yet yields better results! *crossing my fingers for ya*
