We are getting snow here too today. Already about 2 inches and might get up to 4. Starting to blow pretty good out there. Temps are dropping today. 15 right now and going down to 0 tonight.
Roads are very bad. Lots of accidents and road closings.
I will stay in today. Not worth the trouble and hazard to go get groceries. Looks like tomorrow will be really busy!
Everyone in bad weather please be careful and safe. If you must go out bundle up good and take it slow and easy!!!

DH and I went out yesterday for a few hours, left one car parked on the street and the truck was in the drive. When we got home, we noticed someone had made a jagged hole in the glass of the front door, just enough to put in a finger or two but not a whole hand, but there was no glass inside? I don't like it one little bit. I am keeping the dog inside today with the 38 very close to me. Nothing was touched inside, but where did the glass go? And what were they doing, testing the glass to come back or did they just knock on it and it broke? Nothing like a bit of a mystery to mess with your head. DH put clear packing tape over the hole for now, we aren't sure yet what we will do for a final solution. My vote is to get rid of a front door with glass panels, and while DH doesn't like the glass either I don't think they sell doors at Costco
I already have my jello shots figured out for superbowl. For Denver I am doing Orange with the second layer white (to make white jello I will be using plain gelatin with coconut milk) and using white rum. Kind of like rum creamsicles. For Seahawks, I am using Lime with Midori and blueberry with vodka. I layer them in a 2 ounce cup and make several trays of them. I do this every year for our party and have already gotten calls from friends to find out what crazy mixtures I came up with and offer ideas now we know which teams

I just went out to sweep the snow off my van. Just used a broom! Wind is making the snow fly around. Feels like -8 out there right now. Still some flurries but I think the majority is over. Have a good amount of ice on the windshield and around the doors. I will try to get that stuff off later.
The apartment complex has not even done the walkways yet. Drifting snow about 5-6 inches at least make the walk tough.
I just knew we would have a bad winter. Hate being right!!!

Thanks Delilah! Yeah, I think a solid front door is definitely the way to go. The glass looks good, but with a piece of it knocked out exactly where someone would put their hand in and reach in to unlock the deadbolt is messing with my head. There wasn't enough of it knocked out for them to have done that, but one more blow and it would be a done deal.
Since we couldn't find the glass, I am almost thinking maybe it was an accident and then they saw the crack and somehow managed to get the glass out? I just can't figure it out. DH and I both looked for any sign of broken glass inside and out, and not one little piece was found?
Is anyone else watching the mini-series Klondike? I DVR'd it and started to watch it, but I think DH would enjoy it so will wait to watch it with him. Anyone else see it have an opinion?

No control over what happens here at work Ed! I have not been home yet. Not till tomorrow for a few minutes. Thursday I have to go home and pick up the Mariner and drive to my work office for a meeting. Just hope it is not too covered with snow!
Sun is out now!!! I have to go back out and turn the van around. I will let some of the ice melt away..........it is 13 out still.
Thursday....high of 17 and partly sunny.
