It was the last Monday of April
Woke up from a sleep caused by Nyquil
My symptoms were gone
From cutting the lawn
And my day looking bright and delightful!

None of the above is true. I don't take Nyquil, I didn't have symptoms or cause to. I don't cut the lawn. My day is gray and calm.

Alice. I can't wait to dive In!!!

We have another frigg'n cold front coming in!!!!!! Might even see some 40s nights for weekend. Kaypers, pool water will be much warmer than air temps. They are predicting record lows day and night. It'll be in high 80s today and was about 78 last night. And upstairs and down ACs working. Major tune-up, inside and out, down AC/furnace next week but it is limping along fine right now. BTW.... dead whatever smell in your bathroom, up, almost gone. High temps make them dry up faster. ( I did everything I could to avoid using poison to kill the T-Rexs eating the living room walls. This is part of the payoff for killing using poison. Would rather have them stink for a while, in attic and walls, than poison our beneficial Ratsnakes if they die outside.) BTW..... we've never had any snakes inside upstairs. Well, on master bedroom deck but it was only used by David's dog for middle of night potties for whole time we've lived here. Pool will be just part of scenery, bluer than a cenote though, but almost as cold. In a month it will be warm enough for comfort. For me, I need it to be warm enough, mid June before I can handle the temps. By August it will be 90F even running fountain to kool it some.

Back out to wrestle the wild. Bubs being well behaved. Amazing how they can sense my underlying mood no matter how cheery I am to them.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Gonna see if I can get a pic of the hundreds of honey bees swarming the Holly trees right where I'm working. Bees are the main reason I keep an anakit within a few yards of my person year round. One sting and I'm a gonner unless do a shot or two. Amazingly I've never gotten a bee sting out here in 26+ years. KNOCK ON WOOD. Hoping I haven't jinxed myself saying that. (Lots of red wasps stings that hurt like hell and fireants but not allergic to them, thank doG.)

You expected less from a highly trained investigator?

78 degrees in Denver yesterday, 79 tomorrow, front moving in tomorrow afternoon, high of 37 on Wednesday with 5 inches of snow.

Our summer is scheduled for July 6th. Wait... is this a leap year?

Afternoon folks! Hope everyone is enjoying the day. I've spent the day so far organizing vape supplies. I have all my DIY stuff and rebuildable stuff separated out and stored in organizers now. The mods I'm currently not using have been wrapped and put away. Amazing how much bits and pieces one can accumulate over time.

Real time. Empty box wine and OJ carton already in bags so only empty beer a rita cans represent just today. Bleach bottles from past 24 hours. Nuther Costco bleach run this evening. Getting ready right now to suspend stockings full of stabilizer down in front of returns. Besides organic matter eating up bleach really fast the searing sun "kills" it in minutes.

Whitish stuff is gallons of our microscopic, cementous dust.

Have my Nasty Bags in for Aquabot, all 30 of them, but waiting on new floating power cord. Most places wanted $250+ for one but went to my trusty off-market place and got a brand new one for $130. I reuse the nasty bags by rinsing them in buckets outside and then gentle cold water/vinegar wash in front load washer. When pool is fully open, adjusted, and clean, it takes 1-2 bags in 12 hour cleaning cycle to clean up what wind bows in and what dogs drag in. I don't run it during day as that is the only cord or hose even the best swimmer gets tangled in.

Hey, Alice, since you're just sitting around in the shade of a Holly tree, drinking a Mint Julep and enjoying the life of the idle rich how about posting the name and address of the place we're going to meet for the Ardmore Gala Vape Meet and Lake Polluting Vomiting Contest.

I guess you could either post it here to make the commoners feel bad or down on our very own exclusive thread. (Just don't let the rest of the people know the secret password... we probably don't want them to know where we'll be.)

Jack

Will do in a few minutes. I'll post it in Re (o) giona thread. I think I've already posted links but will do again. Gotta get to my notebook. My directions will probaby be better than Tony's, the office manager. You can call, office hours and tell her you are with the Alice West group coming in this Friday. Jack, I told her you are my brother coming in late Friday from Co.
