how you doing havnt seen Wayne in a while how is he also ?

Wayne is okay....stressing, but okay. This is just going to be a hard year, but it's better than the last 5 years. Things are looking up for us....but we have a long way to go yet. He reads, but hasn't been posting much. I'm sure he'll come around again when he's feeling better. :)

is the link Super X post on ebay the same wire as you sent Norman ?

Nut exactly the same. His link has Kanthal A while mine is Kanthal D. Width is the same but the D a little thicker .1 vs .07. The A also a little more resistive if their facts are right. In effect means the ohms on the A will be higher if using the same length. Wire composition I think a little different too although nut sure if this matters too much. I've tried Kanthal A-1 ribbon wire although a smaller size than my D (.5 vs .6) and haven't noticed a difference other than what you'd expect. I've been liking the D so much that the A-1 is on the back burner for now (hey its cheaper). I'll check manufacturer's web site and see if I can find out more :)

Lisa, what exactly is a supplier associate title. Like, is reosmods your employer, are you on robs payroll? Or do you handle the website stuff at reosmods, or is it am ecf thing, or are you involved with some other element of reos, etc? Or is your real job completely non-vaping related?

That's nearly correct. My job is completely non vaping related other than I vape the entire time I work at my desk. Supplier Associate is an ECF title for those who are affiliated with a Supplier. For each forum supplier there can be only one Registered Supplier....and a few Supplier Associates. It gives me some moderator control over this sub forum, but not anywhere else on ECF. I am not on payroll or employed by Rob, but if I lived near him, you can bet your bum I would be. I'm just super passionate about the Reo is all. Some SAs are actual employees of their respective forum suppliers. I do help with a number of things....but I have no control over reosmods at all. I'm the little mosquito buzzing around Rob's ear. He takes swats at me when he can, but I'm hard to shoo.

My job...well...My husband and I own a real estate marketing business. We publish two monthly magazines and run a website. The only thing we don't do in house is printing...and some of the distribution. I'm the designer now, so I produce most of the ads in our books. So we're busy little bees around here.

Iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) wire

This link provides added info for the Kanthal wires, both reg round and ribbon. Most info a little too techie for me but from what I have gathered from here on ecf is that the wire composition won't affect your health unless it begins to melt and Kanthal itself has very high melting points. Nut a metallurgist so won't comment on this aspect of the discussion, though lots of home products use Kanthal wiring.

Looks good. What happened to 2? I was readin along and it was like I ran into a parked car.BAM!
I am loving My reo in the workplace. I actually built another coil in the bathroom while sitting on the throne.when I got done I sat there enjoying the fruits of my labors. Probably looked like a bomb went off from the outside of the stall.

Nuts I guess you are using the flat wire now? I tried it in my Era and I was just not that impressed initially. I may have to give it another go. Right now the Hornet loves 32 g Nichrome 4 wraps is outstanding! I even tried 30 g kanthal a1 and went back to Nichrome. Good stuff and I have like 4 miles of it.

Lisa made II to see if it helps peeps to join in when she learned some weren't able to enter. Luckily no one went running out the bathroom yelling FIRE! FIRE!. Could've been embarassing ;)

I've never tried nichrome so hard for me to compare. But the ribbon on a RM2 is giving me lots of good vapes. The RM2 wide posts and no flood/leak is allowing me to sqounk at will to keep the cotton wick wet while having a very wide coil. I think its the secret to good vapor production. Put lots of wraps, wet XL wick at your preferred resistance. What was it about the ribbon you didn't like?

Hi Val, you up late or got up early?

Well, I suppose it is a bit of both. Apparently I was asleep on the couch as the show I was watching wasn't on anymore! So I checked in here to see if I missed anything good

I am going to take some melatonin and try to get back to sleep. I really need to try to get my sleep more regulated :2cool:

Any news on the house today?
