The VV Woodvil is special indeed as are all of the woodvils but the VV even more so due to it's features and rarity. Per the build photos Karen posted, there were only 160 of these ever made and sold to the public. I have also heard 165 and guessing this may include prototypes for testing purposes. There may or may not be more some day but seeing one and of course even more so, owning one is privilege for fans of these great vaping devices we all know and love as REOs.

Congratulations indeed!

I would love to see an owners list of where they all are and how many are still alive out there in the world. Too bad not all owners are not here on ecf.

Why rob choose not to serialize 'em? I wanna brand my vvw RHP one day. I engraved my girl's first iPad when I bought it from apple (it was a free option) for her birthday last year. It reads:

I'm all yours, and now this is too
Turn me on, Baby!

It's funny because after I discovered ECF, she hardly gets to use it.

I love it Pat! You are quite the Romantic!
I am sure it brings a smile to her face when you do let her use it!

Thanks Rob. I am one happy girl.
I would also love to know where they all are and how many left. Pat's idea of serial numbers is a good idea.
I chatted with Cigzag. He also bought one. We agreed we are now family and need to keep in touch since we adopted siblings and we are now seperating them! Funny who those Reo's almost come to life to some of us!

If you got 1 of the 4 then its the old switch. He said he bought them on sale night and stuck them in the draw so they were from the original batch with the old switch.

Just out of curiosity, what malfunction is the switch having ?
I bought "Blaze" (my Stabilized Burl VV Woody) from that sale and have never had a problem with the switch just saying if it ain't broke why fix it:blink:

Zippo is a cutie Nutz

Congrats Cheri and Cigzag on your new VV Woodys

Good morning Reonuts:D

I'm gonna be relying on Pietro and similar woodynauts to help me out to identify my 3 woodvils when I create a thread about it later on when I have the time and clean my apartment. Who knows, maybe even Jack might chime in.

I'll give it a shot but Karen is the identifier:p

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy tipped Reo

Wood REOs (any model) are unique even when they are made from the same type of wood. That and they were the first of Rob's endeavor into bottomfeeders back in the day. Not taking anything away from metal REOs which have their own beauty and special functionality but these days with REO popularity.....making hand crafted wood REOs will be a nightmare even with his love of woodcraft. The other reason for metal REOs beside their positives is they meet a personal goal Rob has which is making sure everyone who wants a REO can get one. Sadly thats just not possible with wood REOs in this ever growing REO loving world................but he will try. :) Even with wood REOs NOT being indestructible as their metal brothers & sisters is all I care to own. I have no plans of dropping them on to concrete nor into a body of water nor driving my car over one.

Good morning, REOville:)!

Nutz, one of my pups, Fitzy (Fitzgerald if he's not behaving, just like how I always became Rebecca when I wasn't:p), is half lab/half Australian shepherd, but he looks like an Aussie and looked a lot like your sweet Zippo when he was a puppy. Just a fantastic breed! When you mentioned him climbing up the stairs, it reminded me of the above sorta cute video that my uncle recently sent me, since he knows about my Aussie love. One more hurrah for Lenny and congrats to Cheri:thumb:! And I'm loving these vicarious thrills from reading about all of your little wooden collector's items:2cool:. Have a great one, all!
