I hope everything lines up for your trip. Are you driving or riding? Either way, that sounds like a dreamy road trip!I am still hoping my friend can adjust the date to be in Oregon by one week, and can make it from Kansas to Denver. If so, I would be much more inclined to take the trip knowing I would have company for part of the 2000+ mile drive. That is just too many miles to drive all alone.
I have been cooped up in this house so long, and I have never really had an opportunity to see Utah and Colorado. Utah has some seriously beautiful national parks I would love to visit. I still haven't told DH yet, I don't want to until I know for sure. It isn't like he would say no or anything, I just don't want to tell him and then turn out I am not going because the dates don't line up. Wouldn't want him to get all excited about me being gone for a week or two only to disappoint him by remaining at home.
Thought of you this morning when I found my very first poppies. Only two plants came up from a whole pack of seeds, but I'm still super proud.
I'm going to order a black wrinkle with copper vein door I think. It'll match my mini!

I have to unload some REO mods ..... its bumming me out that I have 4 or 5 that never get used anymore.
They are so great (as we know) that they really should be getting used. Going to gift another one to a good friend and then I'm starting to list a few on the classy-fides
I really only need 3 so maybe I can get up the nerve to thin it down that far.
Gotta keep my Cocobolo VV Wood and 'bolo 18650 ....... I know it sounds too good to be true but out of all the wood mods the master has made I somehow wound up with the two best looking ones
Besides those two i need a mini 2.1 its becoming one of my faves for running around town or whatever.
Topped with a Chalice for standard errands and such or if I'm really doing something abusive I throw a super shorty carto on her.
The others that I don't use I have been keeping because they are each special to me for different reasons. Still I think its time to send them down the line and make someone else happy.
I have an original black first run ever Grand (my first REO so its special).
I have an original first run Oak woodvil (first woodvil ever)
I also have a prototype Cocobolo 18490 with no on-off switch and a super rounded back compared to the production run that followed. I keep it because it matches my 'bolo daily drivers but it might be time for it to go.
I would really like to get down to 5 mods total soon .... 3 REOs and 2 "others" I use daily.

A year off of cigarettes is absolutely MARVELous! I don't know how long you smoked, but prior to e-cigs I smoked for well over 20 years and my longest quit was only about two or three months at most! To the e-cig, and to your health 
Congrats to you as well MWdenko! That 6-month marker is a great marker! I remember when I reached 6 months - I felt like the next 6 months after that was definitely in the cards
