Me too...this was actually a week or so ago but think it's going to be perfect:laugh: I've got enough drip tips for ten people and love the Bullis but can't loose sleep over it..so once in awhile I just get lucky

I'd like to pick up a couple more real special ones, will eventually find their way on to sumpthin, another Reo soon hopefully. Might have to break down and message him, not goin' to do the stay up 'n wait thing anymore when I got to work the next day...

I have to laugh....I haven't even set up my first Reo which is used..but I still think it looks hot....and I've been checking out the website all week long:facepalm: I will probably wait until there is another run of the wood mods....I've always had a weakness for wood mods, but currently don't have one. I've sold the majority of my mods over the past year..and really trying not to build back up too much..but could make room for a woodville:D

Good evening all!

Took a long nap today after my boy left. I'll be up for a while now, that's for sure! Y'all are killing me with all this talk about steak. And asparagus, my favorite vegetable. No hope for any of that tonight. Thundering and raining plus all the stores closed up hours ago.

That's all ok though, I've got a bacon cheeseburger or two I bought from the local pizza place last night. Can heat em up in the microwave and they're good to go. So at least I get some cow. Maybe some chipmunk, too :) Ya just never know these days.......

You know, this has happened to me a few times over the last month. I'll run into someone I know casually but haven't seen in quite a while and they don't pay much nevermind to me anyway. Again, very casual Hi/Bye kind of deals. They'll ask me for a light or a stinkie and I explain to them I don't smoke anymore and have neither one. I'll usually say something along the lines that vaping is better for me, as well. (No more smoker's cough, I can breathe easier, etc...) They then tell me about how bad vaping is for you. Of course with nothing to back it up. Mind you, these people smoke.

They're not educated people, I doubt they read the news, probably watch a lot of TV. But somehow they've come up with this impression that vaping is worse for you than smoking. I read the news, don't watch TV at all unless I go to someone's house and they have a sports event on. Where are these people getting this information? They wouldn't even consider trying it because vaping is so bad for you....

Interesting and frustrating all at the same time. Anyone else run into this? I could maybe understand if I lived in tobacco country but I live in the northeast and tobacco isn't a big crop up here like you'd find down south.... Hmmmmm......

I feel that some or most of the people that smoke have that negative outlook on anything that might replace smoking. Seems that their "radar" is tuned to pick up negatives.

Also with the news that is out there on mainstream tv and in print, you mostly find reports of the bad things about e-cigs. I have never heard a news report that did not include the dangers of vaping.

For many it only takes one negative comment, whether right or wrong, to give vaping the thumbs down.

I can remember smoking and seeing or reading about the latest patch, or pill to help me quit. When I just wanted to smoke in peace my focus was on the fine print listing the side effects or dangers of using the products. My whole mindset was, I just want to keep smoking anyway.

Had it happen at the grand baby's birthday party a few weeks ago. Asked me if I was using one of those vapor things. When I said yes, I was told "those are dangerous they can blow up".

I just looked at her and said 'Ya know the battery in that phone you haven't put down since you got here has the same kind of battery just a different shape. Aren't you worried it will blow up? Funny how fast the subject changed . Trying to explain to that one is a waste of breath.

I did give some info to a couple of the smokers though :).

All my friends know I love vaping. I have helped about 6 people get kits. Only one that I know has complete stopped smoking. But it is the one that meant the most to me so I tried a lot harder. She has COPD and when I met her she sounded so awful. I got her started and I swear in a matter of weeks she sound better and she had stopped using inhalers. She went back to her breathing doctor and he was amazed at how improved she was. He was also very interested in vaping when he found out that was what she was doing. She has now cut down on the medicine and only uses the inhaler once in a while. Allergies are bothering her right now but she at least doesn't have a coughing jag when I say something funny. It is a wonderful feeling to help someone. :)

Now.......I hope ya'll have a wonderful day. I'm gonna take my happy tuccas to bed. Ya'll have fun. :D

I run into it all the time, even from my own wife! And she used to smoke, but was one of the fortunate ones who was able to quite cold turkey a few years back. She has come to me several times with reports about the dangers of vaping and I have to try and discount them as hype to her from bt and the uninformed. She considers vaping just another addiction to replace the one I had, and I have to remind her that it got me off cigarettes and whatever dangers there are in vaping pales in comparison to smoking, and now, it's not an addiction, it's a hobby! :D

Good morning ahd happy Independence Day Reofriends! Hope you all have a really great time off with family and friends. Stay safe! I have to work, but I'm only working half day, then the wife wants to run up to Bastrop to Best Buy, Home Depot and Sears for some stuff she wants, so I guess I get to spend the second half of the day on a couple hundred mile shopping trip! :glare:
