The time is nye...

Reos have been quite a ride since August 2014. I have met a lot of wonderful Reo folks over the years, had a lot of fun with them and we exchanged a lot of banter in the old days. There were some fails but overall a great experience. But with Reoville shut down for so long most Reo folks have moved on, are not coming back, and the kinship is mostly gone.

IIRC, 35 Reos have come to live with me, one was sold/traded for a Chalice II, one is out on permanent loan, and for a long time most of the rest have been retired while the 5 P67's saw me through. But they too have been falling out of use to where only a couple still saw some use occasionally, and now almost never. So it's time to surrender my badge.

I have new squonk gear coming in 2-3 times a week that works better for my style, wants and needs, and a host of new bf rda's for them. It's yet another new path for me to go down, it's something new to do. I will possibly still stop in here now and then, but I have become more involved in other interest areas elsewhere.

Thanks for the memories...

Yeah, i understand @Spydro , I'm kinda going the same way. I still use one of my Reos daily, a white with a black wrinkle door, non lp, non sl, just the ole style Reos with an RM2.
I think Eric has his work cut out for him to come up with new things that will spark a new interest in the Reos.

Ah Spydro,
You're part of Reoville, even if your Reos are idle!
Granted, it's not what it once was...but I'd keep a bookmark, and poke it now and then - there are still occasional folks who need the benefit of advice, or who'd love to see an old photo. An of course, some of us who just like to hear from you now and then!
(heck, I still pop in to see what's up in a Provari thread, and those have been sitting for a long time...)

Its not that hard to see that this forum isn't the same since it re-opened. It was closed for too long and probably never should've been closed at all, but it is what it is. It would seem as though quite a few original Reonauts have moved onto other devices with the majority being either a Pdib or CC, but none the less they have moved on to those forums almost exclusively...

I quit vaping 11 months ago but I still try to check in on a weekly basis in a few different threads but mostly the music thread here in the forum. I try to keep up with those other mentioned threads only because most that post there are original Reonauts and that is the only way to keep up but even there the posts are waning some so maybe its the time of the year where everyones busy. Oh well, Spydro will be missed but everyone has to move forward at some point...

I think that I will always be using my REO's, and all my Porvari's and BB's. That is what I bought them for, I started my vaping adventure with 2.0 to 2.2 OHM coils, and I still do today. The only time I have gone lower was when I screwed up on building the coil, and just did not want to do it over again. My point is that I am not one of those people that is always wanting more power and bigger clouds. Right now I am still using Chalice III's, 1 Nuppin, and 1 O-16. I still would like to get a few more REO's. I just could not do it this year, 2017 sucked, I am hopeful for 2018, I might not post a whole lot but I am always here. :)

Hello Reonauts. Good Luck Spydro, wish you well on your journey. You just remember where we are...

Anyways, for those of us into the P67:
I thought I would always be loyal to the RM2. The Hornet, the Cyclone, the Atomic, the Derringer, the Veritas, the Chalice III.... nothing could replace my RM2 for daily use.
Until now. This little beauty is only $18, comes with a replacement BF pin, 5 different air flow settings and an adjustable positive post. I've set my posts at 2:00 and 10:00 just to allow a tad more space for the single coil. With the air flow set on the third (medium) whole, I am very pleased with this atomizer.

I have a BUNCH of mods now - delrin, printed, a couple other alum....
A P67 is still my "road warrior" - in daily use and frequent travel with me.

These are often idle, but I busted out the woodvilles for a while last night!

Ha. I did the same thing (got out a Woodvil) last night. I really love the 2015 Woodvils, and I love the feel of the wood in the winter....

Hi All! I’m one of those who have been so content with my Reos that my search for a “better mod” stopped years ago. They fit my vaping style. No fuss. No muss. Occasionally, like maybe 2 years ago, I tried a new atty (O-16) and have stuck with those happily. That said, I also tend to take my beloved Reos and this Forum (vaping family) for granted at times. (Note to self).

Just wanted to check in and say how much each and everyone of you means to me! Spydro you will be missed. Hope you will stop by occasionally. We will keep the light on for you. :).

And fellow Reonauts, I’m hoping that the holiday season is either a hoot or mellow, depending upon your taste.

Sweet post. I feel the same way. I stopped searching for vaping nirvana when I found REOs. Haven’t used anything else for ages (coming up on 7 years in March when I got my first REO.) My “shineyitis” has been channeled to drip tips for the most part. I got completely hooked on the Chalice III for several years so even quit looking for atomizers. I finally tried something new — the OL-16, that I love. I love this REO family and miss all those who have come and gone. I hope the holidays are great for everyone.

Since it’s cold here these days, I’m using one of my Woodvils because I love that they don’t get metal-cold like the aluminum REOs.

I am totally with JC. I have no need to look for anything other than what I possess right now. Thanks to the lady above me here, I am self sufficient. All I ever need is PG and VG every once in a long while. I will always be a squonker of REO mods. Heavens to betsy, what else is there???
