In the land of no hills and red dirt
And? You can't keep me in suspense like that!

You honestly haven't heard that old joke? Okay...

Fashion designers have just announced what is expected to be the must have purchase of the season, the iPod bra. Containing speakers that connect to an iPod or iPhone via bluetooth, it is expected to solve the age old problem that men are always staring at women's breasts and not listening to them.

could you post a picture please ? Thank you :)

Sorry, but the pictures won't come out any good, since the stuffing was put in after the top cap is on. I'll try for a quick description:

400 mesh, 45x20 mm, torched a few times. Folded over the long sides to make a strip 45mm by (whatever fits inside the cap). That makes it so the wick doesn't fray and short. Rolled as tight as I could -- no need for center hole.

7 wraps of 32ga kanthal wire made 2.2 ohm coil. Too high for most people, but I like it.

Put it between the posts diagonally (though next time I will try to put it just on one side of the posts). Attached the wire to the posts and adjusted the coil for hotspots. Lowered the wick/coil to be about 1mm above the juice feeding tube.

Put a little loop of approximately 3mm thick cotton wick around the juice hole, under the coil. This should keep some juice in it, and prevent the coil from touching the bottom, while not affecting air flow.

Put the cap on, and stuffed another bit of cotton wick inside, all the way down, between the cap and the coil. I put it on the side *opposite* to the airhole.

I do notice slightly lower flavor production compared to Rob's coil, but one squonk lasts me about 20-30 minutes before running dry

Wee! New SS wick with just a bit of cotton stuffing on the bottom. New nic coma
:)

The distance between posts makes it so much easier than the phoenix

Ugh. No SS wicks for me any more :( They have noticeably higher thermal capacity. Take a few seconds to warm up. The first 2-3 hits are too light, then it's too strong.

Next, let me see how fast I can burn cotton

I am having a bad day... My reomizer came, and I promptly lost one of the screws in the carpet, which I still can't find :(. Then I tried at least screwing it in to my grande, only to find the threads on my reo are stripped, probably from a bad drop with the A7. Apparently stainless threads are a bad idea :/. No working reomizer AND my grande has to go to the spa for a week, plus the carpet burn running this damn magnet over the carpet for the last hour. Gonna cry.

I've read about people loosing screws or having a hard time getting them back in. There really is no need to take the screws all the way out. I just unscrew enough to see daylight through the hole and then stop. I haven't taken either screw out completely.
I didn't realize how short they were until it fell off my screwdriver, off the desk and in to the abyss :(. Maybe Robert has a spare he can send along with my poor, injured mod...

Magnetize your screw driver!!!

But I do agree- you don't have to take them all the way out!!

Btw, look in your shirt pocket (or other piece of clothing that could catch it)...I looked and looked for a screw the other day on the floor- finally found it in my shirt pocket!!

Good idea about clothing.

Vegastar....Did you check your shoes? It could have got caught in the laces or maybe pants cuff if you have them.
