ha ha ha love that pic Dave LOL
Btw, I didn't know the top of the Reomizer comes off- or does it? I tried to pry it off with my little allen wrench (for another atty), and broke my hex wrench...

Yes, there was a picture peering in from the top and that top portion of the Reomizer was definitly off...hmmmmThe top cap just unscrews from the base as you must know but I don't see any point in the top ring on the top cap to come off. Is that the part you are talking about?

That would make it fairYou forgot a zero after that 8 & 9, Rob!
Yes there pressure fit some are looser then others . I like that mine comes off makes it real easy to peek inside check the coilMine's like that. When I first got it I tried to unscrew the top of the cover and it wouldn't budge. Then after a few days it just popped off. I think it's just a pressure fit.

Yes you can but with the cap off there is no ? you can see it all in detail makes dripping another juice real easyBut you can see the coil when you take the drip tip off.![]()
Thanks for the compliments!
I use an antique hat pin to wrap the coil. 32 gauge, meters out at 2.5 ohms and yes, it is for a VV. I leave one leg long, and clip one fairly short. Put the long leg in first and screw it down then put a crook in the short leg with tweezers to be able to angle it in the hole. I leave the coil wrapped around the pin as I do this and get the coil right were I want it before I tighten the second screw. (The RBA is not attached to the REO during all of this) When the coil is set, I remove the hat pin and pull embroidery thread through it using a little piece of wire folded in half, with the thread in it.
99.9% of this learned from other REOnauts, I cannot take credit.![]()
I save the poodle hair especially for the photo ops.How does the poodle do for wicking? I have Pomeranian and Italian Greyhound hair, both seem to not wick well.
Same here, it popped off after I had it a few days.Mine's like that. When I first got it I tried to unscrew the top of the cover and it wouldn't budge. Then after a few days it just popped off. I think it's just a pressure fit.
It comes off easier than a drip tip without stressing my drip tip orings the million times a day I peek in. Reminds me of a quick connection water hose. (or air hose)But you can see the coil when you take the drip tip off.![]()
Fabulous! I am so happy it helped! The brand embroidery thread I picked up is DMC, from Hobby Lobby. I wrapped another coil last night, with bigger loops and more wick and it is even better.I ended up winding my coils around a 000 screwdriver and did exactly how you described and made sure it looked similar to your photos.... AND ITS WORKING GREAT! I am now getting an awesome flavor right off the bat and I feel like it is only going to get better as I break it in. ONLY problem (my own fault) is that I wound the coil 1 or 2 too many times so I am running a 1.88 ohm coil. This seems to be a little too high for my regular Grand because I have to take much longer drags to get a lot of vapor. I think if I dropped the ohms down to 1.6 it would be hitting like a train!
Wrapping the coil around a thicker object is allowing me to make the coils all nice and neat like you showed in the pictures. At first I would try to thread the wick BEFORE attaching the coil to the atomizer and that was where the problem was before because the coils would unravel when I tried to pull the wick through. What is the exact brand of cotton wick that you bought? I like the silica but I am a little paranoid with the whole micro fibers getting in my lungs (even if it isn't true...just paranoid). I'm glad that you were able to take such high res. photos (I'm definitely more of a visual person) so THANK YOU!
...excuse the poodle hair in above pics.![]()
