My opinion has always been that there are a lot of aspects of vaping that you can shop for price, if so inclined. But batteries isn't one of them.

Chargers too for that matter. Wonder how many people bought a clone NiteCore I2 charger - known to be electrically hazardous - chasing after that all important "how can I get the cheapest possible price on a charger?" quest.

eBay is not your friend when it comes to batteries and chargers.

There are a few recommended battery suppliers - RTD has always been Rob's recommendation (and it's a good one) based on the specs of the AW 18650 24A edition, which is more than enough to power most Reos.

It's not a 30A battery so i've use Orbtronics for years and they are transparent about the fact they re-wrap Sony VTC's.

But I got an extra purple sparkly door
well that alone makes it worth it!! :D

Lastly, I would caution anyone that is looking at buying any LG HG2's right now, that there is a batch of fakes that are showing up
Jup, saw mooch's thread about a week after I got mine from orbtronic (RTD was OOS) but I "think" mine are good.

I got the black one, although I think it's really a Copper Vein. I'll know more when it arrives probably Wed.
yay! I thought it was gone but couldn't remember. Now I do remember it was you who snagged it.

I think some folks went over the FDA paranoia cliff regarding this battery matter. I really don't see availability of quality batteries being a long term problem. (Short term, however, due to all the hoarding going on...)
lol I've never been concerned about 18650s but hadn't found much for 18490s til that last link you put up on DHs thread. But again, I'm hoping RTD will just revamp to not be a vaping site or do a DBA for non vaping site or something. Found out with the lg hgs that even reputable suppliers can be duped. o_O

But among users word spread very fast that the fakes were not shiny and so it goes.

As a small aside, i think that flogging people batteries dressed up as something else is deceitful and dangerous. Efest consistently overstate the battery capabilities and if you vape well under an Ohm as i do - that can be dangerous. Misrepresentation of battery performance is a serious matter when you consider all the media attention focussing on batteries that explode and linking that to e-cigs being dangerous.

Some of the flashlight vendors and indeed the radio-controlled planes/cars etc communities are often very knowledgeable about batteries, because they have been using some of the things e-cig users are just beginning to explore for years.

It all depends on if you do your homework and ask the right questions to the right people...

People shopping on the cheap usually can't be bothered, as witnessed by all the threads from people who buy eBay batteries and then come here asking "So, do you think these are fake?"

That is why I made the comment I did... They should've asked before purchasing. I am one of those people that over-research's things... If you do get a bad deal on Ebay, its real easy to get your money back though!!!

Today is nic stash delivery day, with another 500ml of 100mg nic, and many 30ml bottles of flavors to be delivered. Next month I'll do it again. :)
What flavors did you grab?

What is your experience with shelf life of your flavors. I have a ton of Capella and it seems to hold up well.

I got all Hangsen tobacco flavors this time. Up to now I have always ordered 10 ml bottles in Hangsens, and Flavor Art, so I have never gone too long on storage, Now I'm going for long term storage, and hoping they hold up.

I've got some 30 ml FA that have held up fantastic for a year now, just stored in a ziploc bag in a canvas bag in my room or in the closet. We keep the house on the warmer side, especially when I'm here alone. Don't like A/C very cold at all.

Hello Reonauts. trying to wake up, got called this afternoon to cover a run to Massilion, OH tonight. Luckily I was already deep into an old man nap, so all I had to do was set the alarm for 8pm and roll back over. Looks like Tuesday comes early.
Hope everyone is doing well. Or, as the Reverand Billy Ray Collins says on the John Boy and Billy show...

"Y'all keep 'em strait up there !"

I bought my 18490's from a Canadian supplier a while back turns out they are the old ones despite them advertising they are the newest. I sure wish RTD shipped up here

Anyone need some VG and/or PG? ~> Deals and Steals

I don't know if it's really "half price" as mentioned. But the bottom line is it's between $39.17 to $49.72 (depending on if you want two VG, one of each, or two PG) for two gallons of your choice, with free shipping.
I know the 1 gal of each pg and vg have been 43.ish for awhile with free shipping. Can't recall the other prices, but they've had excellent prices on 4 gallon cubes in various arrangements of pg/vg but you do have to pay shipping on those.

I got my Nude Nicotine order in yesterday and can finally toss my year old Wizard Lab nic which has gotten really peppery.

I got 120mls of the v2 extended shelf life and 50mls of the v3 with an anti oxidant for super long life. It's all 100mg/ml and will last me a long time mixing it at 6 percent.
