So you're saying I should try and get one? Ok.
I think everyone should get as many Reos as they can. (well, within reason). But yeah, would be good to try it and see how you like it compared to the grand. If you don't like it better, you likely wouldn't have a hard time selling it.

One, two three four, five, six seven, eight nine, ten eleven twelve, thirteen fourteen fifteen... and then I lose track.

What the hell does "within reason" have to do with this?

Howdy Debadoo, RedhatPat here. I couldn't possibly fail to disagree with you less. (hint: That's an obfuscated way at saying that I agree) Unfortunately, no fault to Rob 'n the gang or anybody selling REO's is that some of us just don't have the scratch FOR ANYTHING at the end of the day, hopefully only temporary. The clip side to that coin is that many people such as myself believe you can't put a price on health and I can't think of anything healthier, short of complete nicotime/tobacco cessation, than REOs like ya said.

hehehe well.......I'm not much of a collector. If I have more than I can use (which I don't of course) and more than could possibly be needed as backups, then I would have too many and would need to share with others. :pervy:

Howdy Pat, yeah lots of don't have the scratch, but jup, it's the best thing to invest in as far as I'm concerned.

Howdy @Gigdujour, RedhatPat here. I haven't forgotton about you and many others who have told me to feel free to call them if I ever need a person to talk to or vent to, etc.

Yet another example, especially to true newcommers that REOville is more REALville than anything. Good folks here. Proud to share their company.

I still play the lotto from time to time (powerball on average 4-6 times a year) and if I ever win, ya'll can bet your bottom feeder .... that Rob 'n the gang will get a nice surprise (cha ching!) along with ECF!

The only time we bother with that is if the jackpot is something crazy - you know rollover for week 10 and it's up to $250 million. Then the guys at work will organise something - and i'll throw a fiver in that.

HRH has a go at the scratchcards now and then, but i don't understand any of it, have no interest in it and am far too lazy to go out of my way to queue up to buy a ticket anyway.
Since i'm also married, unless money starts falling from the sky, i'll never be rich.

Now, that's a blast from the past!

Hey, what you been doing?
Well, DH retired and we have been travelling. I am still using my original REO, and still have my woods and mini's. We are stuck in a heat wave here in So Cal so sitting in the AC I decided I would come and see where everyone went after Rob closed the forum.

Glad I found you guys!

I'm glad you found us too.

So, that's what it takes. A heat wave to drive everyone indoors and to the computer. I see how it is.

Congrats on retirement. I hope you're having a great time.
We were in Austin in April, went to Yosemite 3 weeks ago, spent last weekend in San Diego and are headed up the Cali coast to Oregon next month. It's been a blast visiting family and friends.

But yeah, staying out of this triple digit heat is necessary LOL.
