i agree.

classy and a few others have convinced me that a "fan forum" could never revive reoville. (not to mention that Robert never responded to the idea of us fans taking it over.)

it is what it is

i haven't been posting much recently, and nowadays i only check up on ecf every few weeks or so

I am so sorry, but you just can't buy/pay for Rob's REO Forum, those are for suppliers only.
They are their business, their store on ECF.

of course...

... but a "fan forum" that *might* lure Reonauts, and even *might* encourage folks to post links in new threads back to the original seminal reoville threads, as well as be able to create new threads was kinda the idea. the "fan forum" could even be called a squonkers forum, and could attract reonauts as well as the rest of the bottom-feeders :)

but, i'm over it now.

folks seem to be happy with a couple of threads. yay!

Yep, the weekend is coming up. Being retired, just another day for the wife and I. The one thing I miss about being retired, 6 years now, is looking forward to the weekends. :)

I've been retired for nearly 13 years. Yeah, you don't get to look forward to weekends like you used to. But the cool thing is, you can do things during the week, that those who are working have to wait until the weekend to do; like go shopping, grocery store, playing golf, working around the house and yard, taking naps, etc. I loved working, but I love being retired.

Did it sell for $215?

Sellers thread is in the closed threads part of the classies if you are that interested Wharf. He asked and got a fair price for a barely test vaped mod :)

$215 would have been more than he paid and that is a no-no in the classies.

Does anyone else wonder if, after this many years of watching over his flock, Robert is smiling, laughing, perhaps grimacing while clandestinely reading these posts?
He's just an e-mail or phone call away :) I am guessing that he cannot post here anymore since closing his account. I thought about this when I saw posts here and there wondering if he will drop in and say hi down the road. If I am correct, by closing his account he would be an unregistered supplier if he tried to create a new user account on the ECF.

I've wondered about it, but hope he's having a blast relaxing, playing etc.

I bet he's got his porkies trained to read.....

Howdy folks, RedhatPat here. Been a while since this neck of the woods and I was just poundering if any of our fellow REOvillians have any advice for those folks who may be going thru a real deal bonafide mid-life crisis?

And as always, jokes are welcome 'cuz I love all those in REOville from the thought-provoking vets to the commedians who make ya laugh 'til ya bust a kidney!

Thank you for all these years and hopefully more to come.

In the meantime, to anybody who don't know why good ol' RHP decided to raise such an off the wall question after not posting for a while, it's 'cuz I'll be sentenced to the big 40 in 2-years, engaged to the same woman for 8 years and neither of us have a real credit card so we never feel more broke as a joke than on Fridays :)

Not to mention, I'm dependent on more than just the love I have for my woman, unfortunately. But I'll table that, folks.

I hope ya'll have a safe, healthy, serein, and better friday/weekend than me! :D

His buddy EarthRocker (Russ) can post but yeah, Rob may not.

Hey RHP, I think I recall you from the old forum; welcome back. I've been married 36 years and never had a midlife crisis cause I was too busy on the job so I don't have any funny stories to tell. Now that I'm 62 I occasionally think I've probably got + or - 25 years before I croak. Hope they allow Reos in heaven because I'll be vaping one the day I die.
