My first Reo is on its way to me. :thumb:

Here's hoping y'all's just crazy and I hate the Reo thus avoiding another potentially expensive hobby. :p
Welcome to the family!!! We are indeed crazy..........BUT......... I've recently been trying some of the newer tanks out there......... can't get a vape as good as my Reos and Rm8s. If you have any problems or questions, don't hesitate to ask! You can ask here or in the technical issues thread here..... REO Technical Issues/Shop Talk

Tons of super friendly, knowledgeable folks to help you out! Which reo and attys did you order??

Thanks! Picked up a Reo Grand LP in the classifieds. Will be using a Tsunami initially until my Origen and NarDA arrive on the slow boat. A Reomizer will likely be on the horizon. Baby steps. ;)

Have fun. If you get to Halifax, check out The Lower Deck pub if you are into that kinda thing. Amazing bar. If Signal Hill is playing, even better. One of the best house bands I have ever seen. :)

I'm not into alcohol or atmospheres where it's heavily consumed. But if there's good music, I'd make an exception :)

I have to fly out of town for work on Sunday. Any Reonauts have any flying tips? I'm thinking I'll have take my Reo in my carry-on disassembled.
Howdy stranger! When I flew to Fla in April.......it was no big thang. :D I had a few reos in carryon with atty on, but no juice. Didn't have batt cases then, so wrapped extra batts in bubble wrap, and stood them up in a zip bag in carryon. Had a usable Reo in my purse, with 1/3 bottle of juice, and a battery in it, and coiled wicked atty on top. The juice did leak just a tiny bit, but not very much. Just enough to get some on your hands, not enough to puddle, or leak out all that was in there. Got outta the airport, I was set to grab it and vape. Most all TSA folks are really familiar with vaping stuff now. They didn't give me a second look. Hope you're doing well

Thanks Deb! I've got battery cases, and plan on taking two 30ml unicorn bottles of juice. Flying from OH to CA, with a layover in CO. Gonna be a long trip. Maybe I will leave a little juice in the Reo, no big loss if I'm forced to dump out a few ml

I fly with my Reo like every couple weeks...
Here's what I do - may not be right for everyone, but it's what I do.

1 - juice and batteries are packed up, sealed carefully, in carryon. Never had a problem.

2 - Literally outside the airport, or sometimes in the bathroom, I take the bottle of juice out, and replace it with an empty bottle.
3 - I use the "Fancy Italian Bottel" - and I have a cap, with a peice of silicone covering the hole (trimmed the end off one of those silicone things that came on a carto - and stuffed it into a bottle cap). If you use classic Reo bottles - just pop a solid top on the full juice bottle and an empty in the Reo.
4 - I remove the battery, and have a little battery case it goes in.
5 - If easy enough, I close the airflow on the atty. And then wrap a small peice of tissue around it, maybe tucked in the top too - to soak up any seep of juice.

That's it. At the far end, I re-swap bottles, pop the batter in, open the airflow, and vape while I wait for luggage.

That what I do.
My Grand must have something like 50 flights behind her...
