Im running the same build i think. 26g 316L at .5 ohns, 2.5mm the only difference is mine is a spaced coil.

I just swapped the contact coil out for a spaced coil. I like it better. I guess I missed a wrap. This one came out to .46 ohms. Pretty nice though. I think I'll keep this one in for a while.

My son just left with his Pico. The enclosed clapton coils were choking him at 0.5 ohms, so I set up a pair or 2.0 ohm coils (1 ohm total) with 28 gauge Kanthal. He says that works better, but he will still have to get used to it. I also gave him a multimeter and some KGD cotton, along with his mod, batteries and a charger. And 5 bottles of DIY flavors. His HHV hasn't come in yet. His Lady Friend seems very supportive of this effort, so maybe this will get him started....

No smokers can handle Claptons at 0.5Ω! It's a great recipe for a coughing fit.

As i recall, the cutting edge of brutality at the time was a parallel wrapped 32g that flirted with 1Ω, and i ought to know - i made it and it made me cough!

If we assume that the idea is to substitute one bad habit for one likely less bad, then maybe kicking off at about 1.2Ω is a good idea. In any event, you may have added a few years to your son's life so he's better able to pay for your (and my) senility.

I like spaced better, especially in small chambers like this. It seems to do better with the heat in small chambers.

I think I do too. I went to dual spaced coils a while back in my Mantas. I still have contact coils in my Nuppins. They're fine with new wicks. But I haven't been getting much mileage out of the wicks. I figured I'd try a contact coil in the O16 first. But I like it better with the spaced coil.

Welcome back!
The resin mod project was abandoned. I don't remember just why.
There will be another P67 runs soon. The date will be posted on the REO website, well in advance. There have been I think 2 small releases after the initial larger release.
Rob is currently recovering from surgery. He's doing well, the last I talked to him, and is spending a few hours in the shop every day, but not up to full speed yet.

I think I may try tootlepuffing again. I really want to switch back, not sure if I can though but i think i will try soon. :nun:

Good luck with that. I've tried it. I can't vape like that. Too many years of smoking pipes and cigars, I guess. I'm not even a very good 'stealth' vaper.

The term is "Renaissance Vaper" ;) and I enjoy that vaping style. But then again, I always enjoyed pipe smoking over cigarettes. I think the way you smoked may have an impact on your vaping habits, after all it's a way you are familiar with.

I smoked a pipe for many years. It's not something you see much anymore. I remember when many malls had pipe and tobacco shops. I got into higher end cigars as well for a while. I rarely smoked cigarettes. Almost from the start of my vaping journey, I've attempted to replicate that style.
'Renaissance Vaper'. I kinda like the term. I'd never heard it before.

Our dirt looks good too, but...its albino o_O
:?:
After several attempts I still couldn't get a decent Z-coil into those crooked post holes.
I finally put the coil to one side & got a simple, decent vape.
My 1st Z-coil was a full day affair to get it in and looking as good as it vaped... Keep at it and you will get it.:thumb:
Full open vs full open, the O16 is a tad more restricted than the Hadaly. But not by a lot.
This is not what I would've expected. I would've thought the Hadaly was an air machine with 4 slots in it... Kinda Derringer or Stumpy wide open kinda!!
just dropping in the say HELLO!
HELLO back at ya.....
