I purchased one of the o-16 clones and I'm thinking of trying it. The only atty I've ever built for before is the RM2. So in building a coil for the o-16 (or any other atty), can I assume that my previous builds for the RM2 will be relatively compatible with the new atty? Of course I'll meter them after building but I'm just wondering if my old build will get me in the ballpark.
It should, but mount it between the posts at an angle to catch the airflow. And use a z coil with the legs going in opposite directions.

Hey Papa... I've been vaping 0mg for close to 2yrs now and I am only vaping it would seem 3-4ml /day. I still have 30ml left and it would seem at my current rate over the last week, (thought originally I would have gone through it by 1/3 at least), will probably last until sometime between 1/10 - 1/15

Truly awesome to hear, brother.

As someone smart (Wiesel, I think) said - the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. You've become indifferent towards vaping (at least in terms of personal consumption), which is really the only way to be shed of something.

Although I'm a fan of the Z-coil in several of my attys, for some reason I had too much trouble installing one in the O-16 clone. The post holes seemed to be positioned wrong, so I built it like the RM2 & am getting a very good vape.

I guess that little 16 is versatile.

When I find you, I'll show you how it's done

i didn't like the orientation of the post holes either, at first. But after doing a few Z coil builds, I've come to like them. I actually think they are a bit easier.

The z coil is one I already had ready, so I just used it. It was awkward mounting to say the least. I'll propably try the other way when I recoil. It's vaping very well tho.

I pulled out my P67 which had been saved for a backup and I see the bottom of the battery spring touches the screw on the bottom. Won't this cause a short if I start to use it? Have noticed these close together before but never noticed the spring touching the screw which comes up from the bottom. Looks kinda worrisome.... what do you guys and gals think?

Also, where are you getting bf Origen Little clones? Would these be enjoyable for single coil tootle puffers?

No, that's fine, that's how it should be. The spring/screw and in fact entire body of the mod are the negative end of the circuit. The screw is THERE to hold the spring...

I think an O-16 IS a good one for single coil - the airflow adjustment works and lets you get a tight draw or open up more if you want. And it's just a good flavor atty all around.
Clones are at Fasttech or Focalecig or 3F.
For an authentic, they're at Vapinart.

Following Rule62's comments, I got the spring assisted fire button for my P67. I didn't know these were available. I think it is a worth while addition to the REO. If you have ever had a sticky fire button, you understand, I hadn't used mine for a while due to that sticking problem. You might consider a peek insert to replace the wood block at the same time, if you like to bathe your P67 like it do.
I didn't find it on the website last week but wrote Rob and ask about it. He invoiced me and sent one out. The install didn't take long, about ten minutes, the innards of the P67 are pretty straight forward. The trickiest part was making certain that the negative "plate" that the positive contact hits is perpendicular to the rear of the REO body after tightening the stainless filler tube. [A very small amount of plumbers putty with a toothpick on the threads is a good fix for a leaky connection.]

I wish you well as you end your vaping journey! I find that I seem to need to lower my nic sometimes. It just starts feeling like too much., & I notice I'm not vaping as frequently. I only lower it about 2 mg at a time, & may vape more frequently at first but it doesn't feel like tto much anymore. So I see how it's working a similar way for you, I hope one day I can put it all away.

I think now that I look back on it, when my devices became more efficient, (ie.. less voltage drop), I found the level of nic just didn't agree with my body overall, physically and mentally. I tried building higher Ω's at first to offset but it still caused an ill feeling. I would say it was very much like when I was smoking and would smoke a couple cigs in a row on a smoke break or at the bar because I knew I wouldn't get another for awhile and it was just too much nic for my body to process at the time yet my head said go for it anyway!! If that makes sense, I'm not sure...

My nic drop off as my devices became more efficient was drastic in a lot of folks minds because I went from 18mg / 9mg / 3mg / 0mg in a matter of less than a year. Anyway, I am just not even feeling the need to even carry my device around with like in the past and I think that mental roadblock paved the way to the future I am staring at right now. Thanks for the well wished though Kenna...
