I had one of these bottles that seemed more difficult to seat the threads. I used the same procedure but did the pinch and squeeze in a pan of hot tap water with the bottle filled. It seemed that the heat may have softened the threads a little more making the thread seat more secure.

Most problems with that bottle are from getting (or not) a "seal" at the threads.
When brand new, you need to get it seated well -
- with an empty, put the cap/tube on
- pinch the tube, bend if needed, airtight
- SQUEEEZE hard

You're kind of pressurizing the cap/thread seal - it should be airtight.
Couple air/compression/squonks and NOW the bottle should be ready to use...

That, or maybe you don't have a good tube/pin connection? Is that snug?

Edit - ah, geez. Got up, came back, answered question, and NOW see @KentA already wrote up the exact same process. LOL

Woo Hoo! I'm pumped!
Just won my first Xbox football game; against my son in law.
Actually, it's the first game I've played against anybody, other than practicing by myself.
37-0. My Bucs beat his Cowgirls.
kewlios!!!

Well it seems nobody here is a fan of Pat Metheny, but the show was awesome
glad you enjoyed it!

Anyone have issues with the Italian bottles? Mine do not squonk proper, leaving a dry cotton and full bottle or sometimes a messy innards. Halp.

definitely what kent and train said, but I do the tube pinch/squeeze each time I refill and I have no issues with them. I take my bottles off to refill them. I didn't do this with the others, but for me it's easier to take these off to refill.

So, I am going to order new button tops and try a different juice. And, hopefully the 10% vinegar solution soak will remove the flavor smell.
so glad it worked!

I use A1 steak sauce bottles for my diy batches
kinda wish I used A-1. Those would be great bottles. I do reuse glass pickle jars etc for making large batches of juice.

How do you refill a bottle without removing it? I'm bumfuzzeled!

The difference is, do you:
a) unscrew the bottle to fill, leaving the cap/tube attached?
or
b) pull the tube off, removing the whole bottle/cap/tube setup in order to fill

I think Debadoo meant using approach "B" as "take the bottle off"...I think.

Absolutely stunning!
As is your video on coil making. I received the new coil master a couple of days ago and spent most of the afternoon yesterday making coils while watching it! I even managed to use the RxW!
Tho it seems to me that the smaller diameter ones ( called something like No. 1?)are much smaller in circumference than previously...oh well... with it I managed to do a couple of RM2's, so it's all good....

I enjoy making coils with the Coilmaster. When I'm bored, I'll make a few for attys I have, even if I'm not needing to rebuild right away. I'll put them in little sip lock bags and label what atty they're for. I've even been able to successfully make some parallel coils, which takes a little practice.

Thanks! I just unscrew the bottle. I have trouble with the tube way.

never underestimate my powers!!! lmao Didn't realize how that sounded when I typed it. With the bottles that came with the reo, I would just unscrew the bottle, but for the FIBs it's easier to pull the tube off. The first few times you take it on and off it's not easy to get back on, but after awhile it's not so bad. But I know you would have issues with it. I just have OA not RA in my hands.

you are correct sir.

I made one or two, then put it/them in a tank, but didn't like em, at least not with that particular build. But it was surprising how easy it was with the CM after the first one which got totally wrapped up on itself.

Love the pics Sloth and Doffy. Good to see ya Doffy!!!
