I have a cyclone afc modded by Tom. He does quality work with anything he does. Can't lay my hands on it at the moment or I be able to answer your question on the modding technique. I believe he drills the center of the pin rather than slot the side of it. It does, however, squonk just fine - no issues. Note that there are 2 versions of the atty deck, and one is more concave than the other, which assists squonking even more.

As for the atty itself, I find that while it's still a flavour-first beast, the afc cap enlarges the chamber over the 'original' cap and mutes the flavour relative to that design. Still good, mind, but I actually prefer the non-afc cap with it.

It's a great little atty, BTW - sturdy, good connections. Even the afc version is not really for clouds, tho. IMHO, this is one of the 10 best small chamber squonking (when modded) atties ever designed for flavour.

I'm actually using the chalice right now not a cloud chaser lol thank you for the input!

I have a mate at work who vapes 100% PG. For him, vaping is more of a 'pure' nicotine delivery replacement - no desire for clouds of any kind, which is also handy as he is the king of the inter-meeting stealth vape in the office.

An anti-Trunker then, as i vape VG only adulterated by a little flavour and get a great deal of satisfaction keeping the office folks unhappy!

i suspect the way to go is somewhere in the middle and HRH vapes a 50/50.

Out of interest do you know if your PG replacement has the same germicidal properties?

I would get the factory BF. Tom charges $25-35+shipping both ways.
Tom would do a good job, but don't think it would be better than factory.
That's a good price, as it was about $90 last year.

Vicious Ant is the manufacturer and has been around awhile.
Never ordered from them directly tho.

Yeah, if you're comfortable with max VG, this would be a non-issue. Some folks, and I would be in this category, like a little PG in my juice. Straight VG feels heavy in the lungs and I prefer to get a little throat hit from the PG, rather than increase the nic content for the same effect. I guess I prefer a short, sharp shock of a hit to a more mellow voluminous draw, even when DL'ing.

When I make Mrs Rule's Menthol/Mint concoction, hers is 50/50. I can't even vape the stuff. Too harsh for me. But she's a true 'low wattage tootle puffer'.

Heh - my friend is also a transplanted Brit, so the two of you could have an old fashioned pub discussion about it.

I'm no chemist, but a cursory search lists PDO along side PG in lists of air sanitizers.

She's been vaping this stuff for probably 4 1/2 or 5 years. When I came up with the recipe for her, I had her sit and sample various percentages and flavors, back when I used bridgeless atomizers for testing. What we came up with is what she likes. It's the only thing she'll vape. I have to be sure I always have a batch on hand.
If I tried vaping it on my sub ohm set ups, it would tear me up. I can barely stand even mixing the stuff. But she loves it, on her 18-20 watt tank.

I can't do much over 60%VG. It bothers my lungs and makes me feel like I have chest congestion. I've been very happy with 50/50 mix. Of course, I love a good jolt when I hit it. It was the same back when I used to smoke. The strongest, hardest hitting smokes for me, so it's carried over into my vaping.

I believe I purchased my cyclone from MVS. I really enjoyed it. The stainless was waay better than the gold one. The gold cap was a bit loose and leaky.

I started out vaping 70/30, then started inching up with the vg, then started back down, and ended up at 60/40 on most of my juices with a couple at 50/50.
