I'm right with ya. Love 'em both...
And (finally) made it back home, with my first, my Grand, waiting for me, sporting a new 510!
Now, I've got a PAIR of "Road Warriors".
:)
(not my only mods, heck, not my only Reos - but these two are the ones that travel...plus sometimes a Pico Squeeze)

Everybody's different. I can't say I have a strong preference for either. I like my Grands for smaller diameter attys, like Nuppins, O16s, RM4s, etc. I like P67s for 22mm attys. I've never been comfortable with 22mm attys on Grands. My OCD can't deal with the overhang. Button position, whether it's top or side, doesn't matter much to me. But both Grands and P67s vape equally well.

I was purely a Grand vapor for sure... :rickroll:

Never tried the P67 because I was very happy with my Grands, (loved the top fire), but on the other hand, I had a 2015 Woodvil and always had problems with it auto firing in my pocket because I forgot to lock it most of the time but since it took 2 hands to lock, it was never locked very often which led to auto firing alot of the time!! Since the 2 devices are basically copies of each other, this kept me from buying one.

But if I was still vaping, that Yellow P67 sure looks like something I would've needed!!
6 months vape free next weekend...  :toast:

I think that's why Rob went with the internal sliding lock on the P67, instead of a button twist lock. I believe the new Woodvils, which have been re introduced by Rob's former employee, also has the internal lock.
I know what you mean about the chance of auto firing. I do a lot of my 'home' vaping on one of my two Pdib Li'l Pinches. They have no lock at all, so they are never pocketed. Strictly table top vapes. My Grands and P67s are road and golf course vapes.

Yep, this ^^^ exactly. Not hung up on the overhang thing, myself - I just like the lines of a 22mm atty on a P67 better.

I just received my new Super-Vain Grand this week and it is truly beautiful. I was thanking of purchasing the same paint only in a P67 but, at almost the same price, I was able to get a grand and extra rebuilding parts.
oh kewl........would you post a pic of it please? Kinda hard to tell exactly what it looks like from Rob's pic. TIA

we've had rain, or rain around us pretty much every day for the last 3 weeks. Since rain causes pain......I'm soooooooo ready for it to be gone!

And rental car was a v8 Charger

oh kewl! We used to have one of those. My fav car though was the 68 baracuda! Just wish we'd have had the money to fully restore it. Loved that car

I removed the lock pin out of my button on all my grands.

No safety. No problem.

Works for me.

Me too, i've never found the lock to be anything other than a nuisance - you go for a vape, but the button has spun a little and you have to fiddle about trying to free it.
Which sounds like a rather petty criticism unless you are driving and the whole point of the game is not to drip and drive!

Black Reo Grands rule the world - mine's still going just fine. P67's look nice but in a lot of ways the indestructibility of the Reos means that unless you were a new vaper or a collector, it's hard to justify buying one.

i owe you thanks for a pointer to that badger and brush site. HRH is now sick and tired of me going 'feel this - smooooth' and if i recall Harley5 was preaching the same thing years ago.
Filed under 'things i really wish my grandad had taught me'.

i'm not sure that not vaping is an achievement, by which i mean you and i had not been vaping using nicotine for a while before that anyway. So it's not much more than stopping a hand to mouth habit. What it is, is an example to even the heaviest of smokers (and i was 40 a day) that vaping works. You can get off cigarettes, you can get off nicotine, and you can stop totally if you like.

The real problem is - if we all stop smoking and live to 100, the alimony will be crippling.

Some old timers here may remember Della. She did the same thing, stopped smoking, then stopped vaping and i know because she returned gear to me that i never expected to see again.

The locking pin actually caused the button to stick down on my Grand some years ago and almost caused a melt-down. I made it a habit to disable the lock function.
You must mash buttons more than me - naturally i use a feather light touch, just until i hear the sizzle.

Handsome @Train2! Yep, Reos are tough little beasts! I've found that every Reos style has a place in my daily lifestyle. The P-67 and 18490 woodville feel so nice in my hand and I swear that the P's hit faster than my grands. Because I keep my Reo in my front pocket of my jeans (therefore not wishing to misfire), I find my grands have the easiest on/off switch. (I can't speak to the new locking device on the P's that have recently come out.) So when out and about my SL is my best friend. Even though the buttons are in different places, somehow I enjoy them both equally and never miss a beat. Now for the back-up in my purse, I have a mini Reo in a hard glass case. Less space taken up but ready and willing if ever needed.

Yep. black Grands rock. The first REO I bought was a black ano, followed shortly thereafter with a black wrinkle. Both are still in frequent use; lots of miles in the cup holder of a golf cart, and lots of miles on the course.
