The Reonauts new lounge

We have the Suburbs and the New Lounge Threads, the latter seems to be getting most of the focus. Didn't Deb say we got an extra thread? A little confusing to me is all, they both seem to be the same kind of messages. Maybe we could use this thread a little differently than the other, just thinkin out loud.

those are the only 3 I know of. I haven't followed the suburb one, cuz Papaw essentially said he started it because he didn't know that Scott had already started this one and wanted to make sure we had a place to gather.

If it should happen to get closed due to lack of activity, someone can always start another one when/if they have an issue or a question. Or we can just bump it once in awhile.

Well I have all 3 as icons on my home screen as well as the old archived board. If any other Reo threads get started I'll need someone to link to them here because I don't cruise the whole of EFC. Not perfect like it was but I'll adapt with no more complaints.

Hi Everyone, if I am overstepping I apologize now. There has been some talk about missing the flexibility of the old Reo Forum. We have a chance to start something from square one but with the experience to do it right. We should think about how we want to structure the 3 threads of the Reo Forum. Please guys lets talk and debate this, any ideas!!?

for the record, i PM'd a Mod and Robert to ask how much it would cost to keep reoville going.

the Mod (bless her un-named heart), didn't know for sure the cost, but suggested a ballpark, that was totally reasonable to keep Reoville alive.

however, Robert declined to respond to my PM to him, which i take that he just wants Reoville to disappear.

out of respect for Robert, i'm just dropping the idea.

I'm with you! Are we missing something(other than Robert, of course)? To me, Reoville is where Reonauts congregate. We can return it to a booming community or let it die. Its literally up to each of us as individuals to decide if its worth our time to participate. I'm sure gonna try to do my share.

As I mentioned on the FB page it's probably best to leave it the way it is now. Potentially there could be negative issues arise from nonRobs running a direct forum in the Reo name. Plus it could would put a huge responsibility on one or more people to referee it all. So maybe seeing as we are here now we should just let this be the new us. As someone pointed out this is very much like it was early one. One thread looking after everything. Funny I was dreading this new format but I also recall thinking there were just way too many threads running. It worked good early one why can't it work again ?

Yeah, you're right about that, Darrel. Of course, I always post more during spring break-up. This would be way past my bedtime if I had to get up at 2 AM to go to work. Nevertheless, I want to get back in to posting here again. I like the folks here, yourself included.
