i'm all for a bit of cloud-chasing myself - dual-coiled Claptons in a huge Velocity or Dark Horse at about 0.3Ω.

i rebuilt a coil for a guy at work the other day and he's using an Ego Mega tank. That's almost like rebuilding a carto since it's a vertical coil in a steel head with cotton wrapped around it. i gave up on tanks when i found bottom fed devices, because it's a nightmare to get the wicking and juice feed right all the time.

i only use RDAs now because i can see the juice, so it's simplicity itself.

I've tried magnifiers that fit over my glasses, they don't do well. And I haven't found readers yet that will let me see better than my glasses without my glasses.

You probably won't really want one of these but the small one, (the Helping hands) I use all the time, it has a magnifying lens, but in the lens is a extra lens that really takes you close. and if I cant see with that one, I use the big one.

i use a magnifying headset that has flip up lenses. i even make my Clapton wire with that on and read legal notices with it!

Thanks hun. I've got one pretty much like the first one, but a little more old school and no light. I know the light would help a lot. It's kind of small, so edges get blurred where the lens curves. I've been managing, just takes me longer than it should or would if I could see better.

ST, I had some like you were talking about, but the light was broken, and I didn't have one that would work without my glasses, and with em, they just seemed kinda wavy. I'll figger sumpthin out though!

Aw, don't be scared Delilah. Users of cartos are declining due to all the sub tanks out there, and quite a few suppliers are no longer carrying them. But like I said, there are some still out there, and hopefully they will continue to carry them. I myself still use them on three of my mods, and I'm building up my stash of them.
LJ's has a good price on theirs I see, are they Bogies or Smoke Tech? I have been getting Bogies at Hoosiervapes lately for $5.00 a box(2 & 3 Ω). I think they are selling out their stock.

oplholik, I am a proud squonkerette, yes I am! I use unpunched bogies too but the prepunched cartos I get from LJs have a small pinhole punch and they work on my REOs in a pinch - I just take one of the carto covers, cut it in half so both ends are open and use it as a cover to the pinhole sleeve and viola!

Yeah, I was never a nap person til I met my hubby! I normally don't like naps cuz when I do nap I tend to stay up later! My hubby can take a nap and still go to bed at 10 and sleep all night!

Sorry to hear about your back - I know from experience how painful they can be. ice, heat, and advil usually works for me. Feel better soon!
