Oh I read it when it first came out. I like it.
Hope we get some more and that they hold up and back down the FDA.
Good, solid lawsuits - preferably newsworthy - may be one of our best strategies...

Ok guys and gals, up on the soap box for a minute.

I've had more than enough of all the dooming threads - which are full of people who seem to be practically looking forward to the worst possible outcomes and spinning their wheels in hypothetical scenarios. I'm especially fed up with the "Oh no! It's done and over and nothing can be done!" attitude. All the while no one can come to a consensus as to what that definition of "it" is. Buncha armchair lawyers going in circles and it's exhausting.

So, if you want to read something that is actually real - and on paper even - here is a link where you can read the full text of the Nicopure v FDA: COMPLAINT filing from May 10, 2016.

Tobacco On Trial » Blog Archive » Nicopure v FDA: COMPLAINT, May 10, 2016

It's all there - not an edited version or an interpretation - 15 pages. At the very top of the page is a link to download a PDF copy. It's in tiny print but the PDF link is there.

It might be refreshing to read something that is actually real, moving forward and has the legal backing to maybe get somewhere. (I know spending hours in the dooming threads with people speculating about the worst possible this, that or the other thing doesn't help.) You can see what direction Nicopure is going in - that the naysayers is impossible. I don't agree with all this naysaying crap. I'm on the side with the arguments in the Nicopure filing.

And I don't want to see here turn into yet another anxiety driven dooming thread either. That isn't my point. Just thought you might actually want to read for yourself what we can actually know about the first legal action against the FDA. And not have to guess about it or take anything second hand.

Soapbox going back under the sofa.

Now cut a small strip of carto condom or go to the hardware store and get some tiny little oranges that fit snug over the shaft of the pin and reinsert it. It now won't wobble around and short out your reo the atty now will have no airflow as they breathe through their bottoms (nice Eh )

Now see where I drilled the hole Grab your center punch ( I like the automatic ones) give a punch and drill your air hole Size is all up to you How much or little air you like only you can answer that one :)

Bought a thing. From that part where you buy things.

Rosewood with birds eye maple. (And no - that isn't a smutch on the door.)
That is gorgeous! It's a good thing you saw it before I did. Ha. Maybe that's an early birthday present to yourself? I noticed your birthday is tomorrow.....the 19th, right?

Oh you know the drill - you gotta move fast. I saw you dere! :D (And I saw it first - barely.)

Besides - what's that one I spy in your Avatar? Looks awfully similar.

Oh... yeah... birthday present... sure... To go along with the other four Reos I bought in the last 10 days. The brushed TRA mini modeling a Chalice III is posted a bunch of pages back. The THREE brass mini's I bought from Rob - I still need to put up some pics of those.

So a sorta birthday present. More so my 5 year quit anniversary at the end of July present. Largely just a shopping bender. (But not a fear induced FDA shopping bender.)

Tell ya the truth I forgot it was tomorrow. My take on it is once you reach a certain age birthdays are best ignored. :p

Hahaha. I agree with you on ignoring birthdays after a certain age....I've been trying to do that for several years now. Five REOs in ten days......sounds about right. I keep eyeing that 2015 Cocobolo in the classifieds.....and barely controlling my fingers when I'm over there. So far, so good. I have WAAAAAAY more REOs than any sane person should have....and I still find them nearly irrestible. When I see one I want up for sale, I wage an internal battle until someone finally grabs it. But this one you just snagged: oh, my! I would have grabbed that immediately had I seen it first. And yes, the one in my avatar is a close cousin. The door is similar, but the body is Jatoba. I also have a Cherrywood one. But I still want more. Of all the REOs I have (and I have at LEAST one of every single model dating back to early 2011,) the 2015 Woodvils are my all-time favorites. The P67s are a close second.

Congrats on the upcoming five year quit date. My six year quit anniversary is June 30th, so maybe I'll go look at that Cocobolo again.....that's as good a reason as any to let myself snag just one more.... LOL

So...in case you hang out here and hadn't heard...
There's a list of 97 so far for a run of 100 Nuppins. And if you are thinking "what the heck is a Nuppin?" ...Nuppin is one of the world's greatest atties to slap on a Reo. Designed specifically to bottom feed and deliver insane flavor.

Over in the Pdib thread...

And I am on that list this time!:banana::banana: I think it was thanks to you bringing it up here last week. :)

Don't be askeered to push the list over the 100 mark if it happens. As Peter said someone might disappear, some folks change their mind when the $$$ has to hit the road etc. Asking to be #104/100 may not be a bad thing.

Well Deb has spoken so I better be happy!

Thanks y'all. To tell the truth I'm more happy about the 5 year anniversary coming up. I kinda like that - between the three of us we have 4, 5 & 6 year anniversaries lined up, in months 5, 6, & 7. Can we do anything with lotto numbers here? :)
