Good night everyone. I have to get up early and my bodies real tired this week. You take care Pat don't stay away so long. Some of us are here real regular. (Maybe because we aren't all there though ).

Sleep well, my brother from another canadian mother. I'll try to drop by more regular once I work some things out in RL, which makes me respect and admire you REO-vets even more 'cuz I can't juggle the internet AND life as well yet..

Single 'z' coils on those or something else? They are not what i use, but i am still coil-builder-in chief for HRH.

I am what I would call an experienced builder and for the life of me I just can't get a Z-coil in one of mine. Not that I think I would like it, just can't do it. It might have something to do with the 2.5mm coils I build for the RxW I use though... Right now I have a dual 26g .46Ω build in both of mine. Had to up the build in them since I supercharged both my grands. I used to run in the .2Ω neighborhood prior...

I am so new, please pardon my insecurity. I was PIFed a beautiful REO Gramd LP with an RM3. First vape was heaven, but I travel so much with business I have not taken it with me. I want to get to know it better before traveling with it. I can rebuild a Kanger bottom coil in minutes in a motel bathroom. I build RTAs and the drippers I have, but more comfortable with those at home.
Congrats on your first Reo, but I think the paranoia has taken over... If you can build a Kanger coil in minutes on the road then the RM3 should be a piece of cake... What you have there is one of the easiest RDA's and devices you could ask for in vaping... Nothing to the Reo grand. It's bullet proof. Just slap an atty on top with the build of your choice, throw in a fresh battery, top off that juice bottle, and as the British say...Bob's you uncle!!! No need to take anything else with you on any travels or journey's. Been vaping my Grands for a little over 2yrs now and never have a worry when I step out of the house. Whether its for a day or several days, I know I am carrying the most tried and true device in vaping... That my friend is fact!!! Congrats and welcome...

I run 2.5mm Z coils in my Stumpys and Makers, both of which are 2 post Attys. Sloth gives a pretty good demonstration of how he builds his in his video, on page #65. He's using 316L ss, as am I, but the principle is the same. I build mine about the same way Sloth does. Leave the tails long, put bends in each tail, to get them started in the posts, and pull the coil into position, alternating pulling on each side. Leave the drill bit, or whatever you're using to wrap your coil, inserted in the coil, while pulling it into place.

I am very aware as to "how" to make and install the Z-coil...it's just the 16mm atty doesn't seem to want it installed for some reason... Like trying to get that pair of jeans on that you used to wear back in high school, but not taking into consideration the 50lbs you put on since!!!

That's when you encounter the Reo paradox: It works so well and has so little chance of failing that you... go out and buy another one! :D And then maybe a handful more. I have never purchased so many of the same device - just because they work so well and don't have any problems. It doesn't make sense - and yet it does.

And that part too. That's the other great aspect of owning a Reo.

This cracks me up. Was watching some videos before I pulled the trigger and the guy was like "just buy two initially. You will save $ on shipping. Thank me later." I loved your line about not making sense, yet it does. Story of my life.

I'm real fired up to get this. Been working my .... off and am looking forward to a 3 day work week followed by a 5 day weekend. Other that what I ordered from Rob I have everything else I need...other than patience!

Seems like a very nice and helpful community here. I look forward to sharing my journey and perhaps being of help to others later.

Can you accept you spent a decade doing something that you literally, overnight, came to find it was all in vane simply over something trivial like, lack of availability or funds, or just the strain it put on your loved ones?

i smoked for 30 years.

Thanks for all the info everyone! I have been following REOs for years and I know this will be my ultimate device for years to come.

It just might be the last device you ever buy, other than more REOs. I was aware of REOs for a couple years, before pulling the trigger and getting my first one, meanwhile, amassing a collection of mods I no longer use, sitting on a shelf, collecting dust. REOs are all I ever use.
Good to see another Floridian.

I really don't like it when RL interferes with my hobby time. It's been a bad week with one notable exception, my REO P67 arrived! I saw it in the classies and grabbed it. It's immaculate. Now to set this beauty up!
