So again I seem to have caused a little friction or tension in the thread and was never my intention at all. I was merely trying to convey how truly plug and play the Reo is. Even with my modified Reo's, it still only takes 1-2 minutes to refill and change the battery out, and that is if I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing. I take the approach in vaping the same as I do in life... Keep it simple stu...you know the rest!!
Around May 1st was the last time I put a coil in each of my atty's, (both O16's), as that was when I received my new contacts from another vendor here on ECF... That was also the last time I wicked said coils as well due to using RxW exclusively. I do dry burn my coils once a week and it also cleans up my wick at the same time. It only takes a few minutes to do it, if you do it regularly. This can be done at home or on the road. Since switching to RxW I have found my builds last on average of 6 months minimum, (w/ weekly maintenance as described above), or whenever I get bored of the build!! This is usually done at home. In almost 3yrs with my Reo's I have never found it necessary to do this on the road.
I have 2 Grands and switch between the 2 daily, vape only 1 type of juice, and have never found a need to carry a back up device due to them being a Reo... Again, K.I.S.S.... As a few of you know from over in the Reo threads, one of my Grands happened to find its way underneath an eXmark lawnmower and spit out several feet.... I went over, picked it up, brushed it off and blew out the atty, squonked it and took a big ole hit off it... I don't think any other device with a tank or such on it could've survived that at all. Most importantly, that was the only device I had with me, as usual, on that day... Extreme circumstance for sure...
Again, even if you had to change out your wicking, refill a bottle, and change a battery out, this should take all of about 3-5 minutes total. The last tank I had took on average of 10-15 minutes to refill and I won't even get into the mess that was created by doing it... I know the tech has changed lately, but "I" cant imagine it being as easy as a Reo...
So with that, I would like to apologize to @seapeach, @oldbroad, @classwife, and anyone else that felt offended by my comments... Was merely asking to possible benefit someone else that happens onto the thread and it might fall into their vaping troubles or routine was all...
