I was gonna say something witty like, don't let the sloth know something got to you that quick from VapinArt, but obviously the chicken is out of the bag already!!!

hqdefault.jpg

It's all 'law of averages' though, I guess. At the same time Sloth was having trouble with a delivery from Vapinart, I was waiting 1 1/2 weeks, and had to put a tracer on my first Hadaly from Psyclone via USPS. It had apparently decided to take a tour of Florida before finally getting to me.

Now that's unbelievable! I ordered a second O16 from Vapinart (because I always like to get pairs of attys, if it's something I like). I ordered it yesterday afternoon, probably around 3:00PM and shipped via FedEx. It arrived this morning around 11:30AM.
22 hours, and it's already built and vaping.

I'm awaiting 4 more 016 clones.....I love them!

Oh...and I drilled out the other brand, of atties, all the ones I've been using, made the air hole a tad bigger...and achieved more flavor!!!!:D

First time I've EVER messed with an attie!~

"mechanically inclined" I ain't!

The O16 is a great atty. currently, I'm rotating between a couple O16s, a couple Hadalys, and a couple Stumpys. For the O16 I just got today, I resurrected the first LP Grand I ever bought. It's a black ano. It had been sitting on the shelf for a while, because I mostly use my P67s and Woodvils. Cleaned the contacts up, put the O16 on, and vaping like a champ.

Got my new style spring loaded buttons for my 2 P67s today. Conversion was pretty easy; maybe 5-10 minutes per. Everything working great.
I have much more confidence in them now, with the helper springs installed. Plus, I got to take a look under the wood block, and see if there had been any leakage I wasn't aware of. Nope, the block was dry as a bone.
kewl!! On both counts!!

Xmas twig
roflmao! My son has been meaning each day to put up the tree, but hasn't yet. He did do the outside lights. Not a ton of em, but a very nice lil display. He found one thing at walmart that he had to get. I've got to get a pic of it cuz it's priceless!

I don't mean to bring anyone down, but I'm having a real rough time getting into any sort of a Christmas spirit this year. It has been a year of 'firsts' for me, and those firsts are especially tough around holidays. You see, I lost my 35 year old son on 12/29/15; four days after Christmas. So, the year of 'firsts' is coming to a close; first New Years, first Easter, first birthday, first Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, etc.
Now to just get through Christmas, and especially the few days following, and maybe start anew. Next year will be easier.
As I said, I don't want to bring anyone down. I just needed to share with my friends in Reoville where I'm at. A little cathartic, maybe. But thanks for reading.
((((((((((((Rule)))))))))))) (((((((((((Rayn)))))))))))

Well...I received my 0-16 this afternoon, decided a while ago..after watching umpteen videos on builds and such...to go ahead and give it a shot, so I made a new coil, wicked it, so on n so forth...bottom line is
oh kewl.........lad you're liking it!

brrrr its getting cold
JUP! I don't like it. I think we're supposed to be at least above freezing (thermometer wise) now though. for me if it's below 60 it's freezing! below 70 is too dang cold. :D

I mean this sincerely. Any one of you is welcome here, anytime.
It would be wonderful to see that area. And to get a real life sloth hug, (or 10)

Hey, Scott. Doing great up the road here. You doing okay? All this talk about a REO meet-up in the Adirondacks reminds me (and oldbroad) of our meet-up at Lake Murray back a few years. Wasn't that awesome?

For you "newer" comers.... About 10 of us (including sterno, oldbroad, supertrunker and his wife, and more) met up at a lodge in southern Oklahoma and hung out. It was beyond awesome.
Not long after I became a reonaut someone posted about the trip. I read a ton of it. Loved it, especially Jack's writings. Made me want to get his book even though I wouldn't care so much for the subject of it, but love the way he writes. Still haven't gotten it, but I most likely will at some point. That's one thing I've never forgotten about.

And you make the best cornbread i've ever had!
Jan.......care to share this wonderful recipe? I've never had a homemade cornbread that wasn't dry as a bone.

How about the time they misdelivered strong medical supplies intended for Chrissy
I remember you talkin about that. That was just inexcusable, and likely criminal. I've had just the opposite. I fought with UPS on nearly every order when I was a demonstrator with a stamping company, for 7 years. The few dealings I've had with Fed Ex have been fantastic. Just like anything else........depends on the peoples.

Loading up my first REO with some ACB from the last shipment of NT I'll ever get. REOs changed my entire vaping experience. Happy I had a chance to enjoy NT before it disappeared!
Wahoooooooo that's great! Really glad you're loving it! Reos did that for most of us.

Perhaps more government effort ought to be put into reducing the likelihood of ...... overdose say,
I know this isn't what you meant but please noooooooooo. The way they're doing is to make it dang near impossible for folks who need em to get pain meds. I can get em, but not in the strength I need. But they'll shoot me full of a ton of steroids that destroy bone without blinkin an eye!

If it's the RM2 that Kay usually uses, then the top is made of chrome-plated brass, so it's very soft - a pointy nail file will do the job.

All mine are drilled to 1/16" rather than the 3/64" that they arrive with. HRH did that to them all with a dremel, but you can also just spin a drill bit in the hole using your fingers. If you ever wanted to return to that eye-bulging golf-ball thru a hose draw, then dropping solder in the hole is one possibility i've heard.

Or get a new topcap. The RM2 is a Triangle atty that was modified for our use.

I have a dremel, but was wondering about how to hold the cap still to drill it. I guess pliers would work? I don't have one to do right now. Just curious.

Use a C Clamp, stand the cap up near the edge of a table, and clamp it down with the C clamp. It's how I've done it.

I just got a brass screw and a Phillips head screwdriver and turned it a few times...easypeasy! I held the cap in one hand, on the sides of it....there's a tiny burr on them around the opening, but no big deal.

I like big air, at least RM8 Derringer wide open air. I know this hack job is a mutilation/abomination but it is functional. I Dremeled with a cutting wheel on both sides and it Breaths!

I have another coming on the FT slow boat which I'm going to take to a machine shop to have proper holes drilled so I can vape it with the lights on.:) I still love my Maker and this little atty could fit down the chuff cap on that beast!

Very nice atty for $9 and change.

i saw Pdib do that to a RM2 topcap once and i have one the same, but when it's that airy the wicking struggles to keep up if you're not careful. And it'll leak if moved from vertical.

Which is why i moved to bigger cloud chasing atties, as well as the ability to control the airflow. Incidentally, it's a whole new coil-building world when you use big atties, because a single coil is anaemic.

Having said that, the RM2 is one of my all-time favourite atties because it's easy to build, supports a variety of vaping styles, easy to modify and fairly cheap. Rules' Hadaly looks interesting, but we'll see what the Xmas Smurf gets for me.

Keep in mind, the Hadaly isn't really a cloud chasing atty. it'll hold its own, but you aren't likely to win any cloud contests with it. It was designed primarily as a single center coil, 22mm flavor atty.
