I just dipped into the freezer for some more nic and realized my nic stash is really low. Need to get a couple litres soon. What kind of bottles do you long term niccers recommend for a serious vapocalypse freezer stash? I was using little mason jars but hoping for something better.

It is a bit of a pain, but I use 50 ml Boston rounds, I have a lot of them. I like them because when I open a bottle, I have exposed just that 50 ml to air and the rest stay frozen. My last batch I did buy some 9 oz jars, which hold 240 ml, but that batch wont be out of the freezer for about 15 years or so.

I'm like Kas ... except I freeze them in the liter size, and I break down one liter at a time into the smaller sizes. When those are empty, I break down another liter.
I don't do them all at once simply because of the space it takes.
The clear bottles your using are fine, but put a sock on them for padding, and to keep them "in the dark" :p

I buy Nude Nicotine in the bottles with the rubber cap where you insert a needle and put that in a poor mans tupperware container for the freezer to protect it from rummaging around the frozen chickens to find some beef.:) When my last bottle is gone I think Ill quit nicotine all together.

Me too. Got mine last week and it has an SSD hard drive which is super fast and an intel i5 chip. Pretty good for photo editing. Ive been limping along on a Kindle Fire tablet but now I'm back in business and able to post pictures again, which I'll probably bore you all with.

The last nic I bought was from Nude Nic. Prior to that, I used to buy from MFS. I don't do anything to it. I don't unseal or open it. I leave the bubble wrap around the bottle, put it in a zip lock bag, and put it in the freezer.

I transfer a liter to 2 500ml bottles and just work out of one of those.
I keep it all in the freezer and pull the working bottle out to thaw the night before I mix
I break my liter into 4 amber 250ml bottles and it's all in the freezer. I keep forgetting to take one out when I go make some juice, so I have to take it out and leave it out until it will at least flow. My nic is all 100% pg, so it's not as bad as having all vg nic.

When I'm ready to thaw out and use a new bottle, I transfer it from the glass bottle to a squeeze bottle. I have my nic in one, PG in another, and VG in yet another. I've been mixing by weight, rather than volume. Much easier, once you get the hang of it. No clean up, no syringes, no needles, no graduated cylinders.

That's what I do with new liters. When I need to open one I break it down into 100ml boston rounds & pull one or 2 at a time. I've started mixing 500ml of 18mg base at a time, & add flavoring to that so I'm not even sure what my nic is from recipe to recipe now. As long as I'm under 18 mg I'm good.

Im the exact same. I use 30ml unicorn bottles for each of the 3. (ETA: not true. I use a giant squeezable ketchup bottle for the VG, but 30ml unicorn for nic and PG)

So - you freeze your nic in the original bottles they come in? I'd much prefer to do that, but I thought for some reason it had to be transferred to glass before freezing. If not, much better to not even open it and expose it to air until necessary :)

Yes, I get my nic in glass bottles. Nude nic offers the option of splitting up each liter into 4 250ml bottles. That's the way I get mine. MFS also comes in glass bottles. I've never had a bottle crack or break in the freezer. But I do put them in zip lock bags, just in case.

Oh wow, I didn't realize NN did that. If I go back to them for my liters, I'll definitely do that. I'm not a fan of NN as a company, so I'm debating sticking with VT, but NN nic is very good and that is an incredible option!

I switched to NN a while back, after getting a sample from them. As I mentioned, I used MFS, previously. But after trying unflavored using both, I found the NN to be smoother. MFS seemed to have a slight bite to it. Some people like the bite. I don't.

I literally quit DIY for a few months because everything I made tasted terrible. I finally realized it was the MFS nic. Branched out to VT and NN, and not only was able to DIY great flavors but also vaped unflavored only for about 6 months. MFS is, putting it nicely, not for Sloth :D

When I got my first batch 3 years ago, I read that it was recommended to re-bottle the Nic in glass, and that oxygen can and will degrade the Nic. So I also purge the oxygen out, here is a pic I took of VT Nic I did on 2-16-2015. :)

NN also offers a few packaging and bottle options. The one I get, supposedly the air is purged from the bottle, and the air space in the bottle is replaced with argon.

My first batch I bought was Wizard labs, and I am still using it now. I did the same with Nude Nic, VT nic, and last was MFS Nic, just because it was so cheep, I never have tried it though. I was stock piling so it just made sense, as long as it is taking me to get threw my Dec 2013 batch, I might be 70 years old before I get to it. :D
