Another question for you - Have you always been with Charter? Or were you with TWC or BHN before Charter Spectrum bought out them? I know TWC and BHN did charge for modem rentals. If you were you probably need to contact Spectrum to switch over to a Spectrum plan. Or maybe wait until the dust settles down with the buyouts.

I may check into that, depending on the rent free modem Spectrum offers. We have Brighthouse, which is currently changing over to Spectrum. We have always owned our own router. But the cable modem is Brighthouse. We need a more powerful wireless router. It's a bit weak at the other end of the house, and our house isn't that big.

I was one of the mods in the old BHN forum at dslreports.com. I was the mean one.

HRH spent all day today setting up a new internet box here after the cable modem we had turned its toes up. She did not have fun and it took her 2 trips to the Comcast store to finally get the gear that will work. i got home from work and did i hear all about it!

Took me 10 minutes and everything works; but she's drilled holes in the walls to run cables and you name it. So i bought her pizza.

Personally i preferred the old setup, but that's the price of progress i suppose.

That kind of stuff drives me nuts. It sends me through the roof. I have to get Mrs Rule to do that stuff. I can do most anything around the house, as far as repairs, remodeling, building things, etc.; but when it comes to tech stuff, I'm lost.
She even had to set up my Xbox for me, that I got for Christmas. I connected all the cords. But she had to do the set up.

I've been playing Madden17 football. I also have Outlast, that I've fooled around with a little. Those are the only ones so far. I used to have Tiger Woods golf on my older 360. But I haven't played it on the new one.

I don't have any consoles or a TV anymore, but I used to love playing Call of Duty - specifically the nazi zombies. I could blast zombies all day long still to this day. Problem is my internet sucks so it isnt worth it anymore.
