I actually think there is a time component as well. I can't remember, but I'll see if I can find it. I remember when I "turned" it was on my anniversary date because they had a "party" of sorts in the Veteran's thread. They have since discontinued that practice (too many) but it was pretty cool at the time.
Sounds like you will hit vet status tonight though, if you get to 75!

I was actually considering becoming a supporting ECF member today; this place has been great to me. I am waiting on my new debit card to come in the mail though lol

Actually, hundreds of my posts were in the newbie forum before I discovered the REO forum. Fiend, you may have to branch out a little if becoming a full-fledged veteran is important to you.
Part of the (privilege, duty, responsibility) perks of being a vet is that you have access to the Ask the Vets thread where you answer questions. In order to be able/good at that you need to be well-versed in lots and lots of vape related "stuff"...... Not just REOs. That's the reasoning (I assume) behind the restrictions.

I am indeed a knowledgable sloth about vaping but all I know about is bottomfed mechs, really...so I guess i would be of little use in the ask the vets thread.
