Ahhh. I was going to give you a Picasso, but now realize you would want to abuse it.
Yeah, you should really save your money as it wouldn't be worth much after I get ahold of it!!
In case tongue-in-cheek wasn't clear: My Reo Grand has has been used EVERY DAY for 3 years, been dropped at least 50 times, probably has more air miles than you, and the worst repair issue I've had boiled down to wearing out the top bit of a squonk tube.
If you ever have this happen again you can always snip off the broken part and re-use the hose. It won't reach the bottom of the bottle but it will still squonk if you keep enough liquid in it...

Don't get me wrong guys, If its something you really want then spend the money for it... Thats just not me though, was what I was saying. There are so many other things in life to spend that kind of money on imo, that would get used anywhere / anytime while I was still vaping away on my grands a short while back. Just one mans opinion was all!!

As always, muzic. :toast:

As I've said before, you are (sometimes) the tabasco in our gumbo. Wouldn't be the same without it.

Just blew my first spring, I took the cap off the O-16 and when I put it back on I must have been pressing the button on my P-67. Next time I will use the slide to deactivate the button. Am I the first?

I dropped a spring on a P67 using an O16. My problem is I got a JMK top (smaller than stock) for it and was using a JMK drip tip made of delrin but thought I would see what the little metal drip tip from a Mark Bugs Charm (the little stump of a tip on top of the delrin tip, its two pieces) would look like on there. I checked down the hole and it didn't look like there was contact, but as soon as I hit the fire button, I heard the odd - loudish sizzle and smelled the burnt metal and knew right away what happened. Thank Rob that they're there and easy to swap. Always have a spring or two on hand!

Yep - that's what I did. Had a little trouble seating it, so took off the cover thing, but basically, just snipped off the stretched bit of tube.

I heard the rm2 screws fit into the cyclones posts. Can anyone confirm? I feel like i saw this somewhere

Grub screws for attys are generally either M2, M2.5, or M3. M2.5 and M3 are most common. On rare occasions that it's an American sized atty, they might be 4-40. Extra screws can be found at McMaster Carr, which is where many of us purchase spare hardware.

i've never dropped a Reo spring because of a careless atty build; i'm far too paranoid about testing them for that to happen and i test them a minimum of 3 times and always with the cap on finally.

I have deliberately ruined fuses and the like on Reos and Dibi's to make sure they are giving me the protection i wanted. What i found was that Reo springs gradually pancaked (and fuses for that matter gradually failed) if you went to grotesque low Ohm builds - and by that i mean the output limit of a good 30A battery in a single battery device - so 0.14Ω.

On devices with no protection built-in, then it's a true mech users dream because you battery becomes the fuse, which is why you always build over the CDR of the battery and add in some margin for error, because coil Ohmmeters are not deadly accurate the lower you go and batteries get more decrepit as they age, just like we do.

Fine  the deed is done.
I'd forgotten what it was, but glad you'd gotten. Reading on, I realized it was the hadaly. Glad you at least love the flavor of it, if not the build deck

I dislike super tight top caps. It's a pet peeve, I guess.
Same here. I don't have near the hand issues that Kenna does, but I do have hand issues, so a tight top cap is something I don't like. One reason I loved the Rm8 derringers so much, but didn't like it when the AFC would decide to fly across the room when taking off the top cap. That happened more on a different clone than it did the actual Rm8 though even though it is also a clone.

I have cut a gripper thingy into strips - they are great for this !
Makes it soooo much easier to pull off caps !
I haven't cut any, but keep one on in the cave where I rebuild, and one in the kitchen. Need to get a couple more of them.

Hey guys. Hope everyone is doing good. I have a slight problem, and need some advice. The Magnet came out of my sliding door (white door that goes on Han Solo). I put it back in backwards using a tiny drop of super glue. How can I get the magnet out of the hole without ruining it? ...Put it in hot water? ...Use a Micro Torch?
welp what I was going to say was covered. I didn't have any luck using a large soldering iron of a friend and a strong magnet to pull it out. I used my crafting glue, Tombo mono multi and man did it stick. Later when I had no access to the solder iron, someone mentioned trying to get the one from the mod off.........wish I'd thought of that in Florida. Still haven't gotten that bugger out, but haven't tried anymore either. Don't wanna ruin the paint. Just figured at some point I'll be able to send my purple mini in for a shave and haircut and new innards, and would send the door at the same time.

I can hardly do cinnamon at all. Apparently, it's one of those flavors I'm sensitive to.
same here!

because that juice in a subohm DL build would prolly melt your uvula.

I think this is the beach one.......I'm so jealous, except for the fact that it looks way too cold!

i'm thankfully opposite end of the country, but yeah, she's big
Glad all y'all got was some rain. Good to see ya posting more

I'm back!
Update:
Got the cyclone afc was going to send to chowderhead and realized I hated afc top cap. Took about a month but I found the original top cap and I love this thing. Got an extra deck with it too the concave one! Drilled it out myself. I'm actually going to send the other one "2014 flat deck" to Tom for a back up. Now if only I can find the fusion drip tip..:hubba:Phew! Sorry I've been gone hope everyone is doing good!
Wb, and glad you found what you like!!

Sweet "murderer's row" of small chamber MTL atties right there :toast:
I've got one that came from ratman on a reo mini......can't remember now what it's called. IBA doesn't sound right, but it was something like itty bitty atty. If memory serves, and it rarely does, it was kinda like a hornet. I tried it, but even back then it wasn't for me. But that one is going back awhile.

morning

it is 50 F here  pretty sure that is actually life threatening, like @Rayonati Sloth gets
jup it is!!

awwwwwwwwwww glad you gave him one! Glad he can handle the chocolate. I didn't even think it was real chocolate, but one time gave our Westie mix a couple teddy grahams with tiny specs of chocolate, and he threw up, and gave the puppy one cookie crisp piece of cereal with some specs. They musta been real chocolate, cuz he got ......... So our dogs get NO chocolate at all.

I felt 70 degrees C once during the heat treatment of our house. I went inside and stayed a few minutes. Not sure what posessed me to do that...
Yipes! My son was in Kuwait for a couple weeks before going to Iraq, and the thermometer there topped out at 140. Then he worked for an insulator and when they were in attics all morning or afternoon, I forget what he said the temp was, but it was even higher than Kuwait I think. You could literally wring sweat out of his shirt.

Hello everyone I'm more of a reader and looker. But I would like to see how some of you do Z-coils. I have four O-16 and use rxw single coils and I have a hard time setting it up. I make a horizontal coil and bend it so one end can stick into the juice. any suggestions of a better way, maybe some pictures or info will help. Thank you for any help.
well welcome! I did my first (only so far) one by watching the vid sloth posted! It was odd to do, but I got it done with a lot of yanking and tugging. I'm sure with practice it will become easier. As others said, as long as the rod or screwdriver or whatever ya build on stays in the coil, you can abuse it some.

I ordered a 2nd earlier and a damned Therion. No idea what possessed me to do the latter, but whatever. It'll be interesting.
kewlios. I'm pretty sure you said a BF one. I think I've heard references to that before, but haven't looked em up. Don't remember if it was the therion or triade, but I fell in love with one I saw at one of the Chinese places that was purple ostrich!

Just blew my first spring, I took the cap off the O-16 and when I put it back on I must have been pressing the button on my P-67. Next time I will use the slide to deactivate the button. Am I the first?
well now you've been initiated. I have yet to have that happen, but am super .... about metering several times and with the top cap on. and finally got a 521 tab, so it will be even easier to meter after it's wicked

have this pulled up to watch later if it's the waynes woodies one.

I am nearing 3 months in a few days since quitting and it just seems to get easier with each passing day!! I played the benefit we were scheduled to play last weekend and found myself in amongst a whole gaggle of smokers and never even flinched at all. I did however make sure I stood a couple feet from anyone that was smoking as to not smell completely like a cigarette when I got home but to no avail, that was just impossible to do.

The girl we did the benefit for passed 3 days prior to it and was dearly missed by everyone that was there. She's in a better place right now and not in any pain anymore.
that's awesome on the 3 months. Jup you can't get anywhere around cigs without smellin like smoke. Sad reason to get together, but glad y'all did. Would love to hear a recording if you're ever able to post one.

I've been looking at a particular other sqonk mod but haven't pulled the trigger as I'm scared of it. No spring. I try and be as careful/deliberate as possible but you never know.
As someone said, the copper vapes are a good cheap entry to BF, but I love knowing that I have that spring if I ever need it! Don't think I'd want one without it.

hehehe if this is the sloth bath.....that was so cute! But dang......bathe em, then git em dirty again. lol

I never understood spending that much money for a device that you never take out of the house. Thats just a waste of money to imo!! The reason I vaped a Reo was because it could take just about any abuse I could see fit to throw at it and still just pick it up and vape it... There have been several people in the past couple years that have dropped Dibi's and other expensive devices on the kitchen, garage, or even some living room floors and it was making an immediate trip to the spa... Not my idea of money well spent!!
for me personally I agree. I'm far more function over form. But for those who can afford it, and like em, go for it. But I'm with you. If I did have that kind of money to spend, there are a lot of other things I'd spend it on. (2 p-67s maybe) and some stamp stuff with the leftovers. lol or 1 p67 and a lot of stamp stuff.

I'm confused I ordered from Indy vapor shop and you have to confirm your old enough by uploading a picture of a government issued ID? Strange to me... anyone confirm on this?
I"ve always heard they are a good place, but I will not order from someone who wants a copy of my license. It's probably not really a big deal, but it just bugs the stuffin outta me and I won't do it.

i didnt realize but this thread had a birthday last month on the 10th :)
so spill.......who is it? I have Gracie down for the 11th.

I did ! I did !
OHMAGOSH !
FINALLY !!! Only took several years !!
Serious mailman stalking going on here !
Wahooooooo!!! can't wait til you get it!!!!

I go on thursday to have the nerves burned in 3 places between the vertebrae. Hoping this gives some pretty good relief on the right side. They said an avg of 8 months. A friend on another thread says his only lasted 6 weeks. If this works, we'll look at doing the left side. I've had a LOT of rain pain, and been kept busy with the puppy, so haven't been on in awhile. But y'all are always in my thoughts even if I'm not on here.

Reosmods is out of stock in springs for metal Reos  idk if that's a warning sign to start making sure you have enough parts. I ordered some more spares nonetheless.

Well that's an uh-oh...I don't have any stashed !

I've got one woodvil spring and one or two grand springs. Hmmmm might need to call Rob and see if he'll have parts, or if we need to get to getting. But he's planning to have p67s on the site all the time, so I imagine he'll have parts for a good while to come.
