I wish there was another way besides the notary but that's what I'll be doing this week when I get around to it.
If this had been available as an option when I got verified, I would have used it. I didn't want paypal either.

Good to see you Roger, hope you're still abusing that Reo!

T
I agree! Miss you Bushy!!

PayPal did make me a little nervous at first. But, I've come to like it.

There are some places I do not want to use my card. PayPal is great for that. And, since my card has been hacked again, I won't have a card for a week. So, cash or PayPal for the next week, that's it.

Hmmm... I'm flying to the states on Friday; just checked again, and it's with... wait for it... United. Should I take a pepsi with me to placate security if they try to remove me from the plane?

It's so confusing these days.

That sounds like the Friday night club scene in this burg.

Does that night club catch fire ?
While I was waiting to get loaded, I thought I would catch up on some paperwork. Then I noticed the sun coming through the driver's door window seemed awfully warm.
Parked on the left side of the drive, with a twenty foot downgrade to my left. At the bottom is the sawmill, sorter and dry kiln. And, of course, the ash pile that goes with the dry kiln. The wind had lifted hot ash from the pile, over the concrete barrier and into the dry, uncut grass on the hill side. Hello wild fire.
I immediately released the airbrakes with my right hand while starting the engine with my left, and moved across the loading area. Stopping a forklift operator, I said "Hate me if you want, but y'all got a fire going over there !"
It turns out that forklift driver is also a member of the nearby volunteer fire department. He hops off the forklift, and with a cellphone to his ear runs off the property and up the street to the firehouse. Within minutes he returns with two fire trucks fully manned.
Just another day, right ???

Does a burning sensation about a week later count? ;)

Crazy to see that fire happen right in front of you. We have some sawmill clients (we make software for them) and whenever I tour a mill I am amazed that there aren't more fires.

Glad you kept a cool head and prolly saved the situation from getting more dire.

Then, four days off ! Cost me a couple of vacation days, but I could use the break. Stay-cation (and honey-do) just around the bend....
Glad you'll get a break, even though you have work to do at home.

hehehe

morning reonauts

i'm cooking baked spuds, which is warming up the kitchen and lounge nicely

good winter comfort food :)
Yummmmmm Love me some taters. We haven't had any in the house for quite awhile. Dil is always trying to do low carbs, and when we were getting them, she'd toss out a 1/2 a bag cuz there wasn't room or they'd get eyes and she thought they were bad. They've been gone for a week and will likely be gone another week due to some health issues her dad has had. So I had my son get me a bag of taters. Gonna bake quite a few, smash em and freeze so I can do smashed taters. Definitely gonna do some fried taters and eggs.

Melt a layer of cheddar cheese on them smashed taters.
lol would come closer to putting the cheese on the fried taters and eggs. I like my smashed taters plain and simple. If I do cheese, I'm goin whole hog and doin loaded smashed taters.

oh that looks soooooooooo good! Love me some black olives. Whenever I go to subway, I have em put the veggies on, except for the olives. Then add the ranch dressing, then the olives! That way they can put a lot and the ranch holds em on! :D My son worked at a subway for awhile in HS. I went in one day and the person in front of me got him as a sammich maker, so I got the girl beside him. When it came time for the olives, he grabbed the olive bin outta the holder, handed it to her, and said.......yur gonna need ALL of these! hehehe
