My favourite candies as a kid were goodies and dutch drops
I had to look those up. Wondered if they were similar to horehound candy which I love. What I saw about them said NO! lol Seems like there are various types, but one article said they were used as pranks on unsuspecting folks! lol I love black licorice. Got two bags this year of black jelly beans. Plus ever how many of em were in the spice drops jelly beans. Been lookin for em for a few years, finally found em this year.

LOL. I've ridden a motorcycle in snow. It's not as easy as he makes it look.
Riding in snow is ok, but across the crest of a mountain?? That guy has some huge cajones to be riding that trail in normal weather, much less when there's snow on the ground to camouflage the terrain!!

i recall a particularly miserable (ho ho) winter in the south of England and at the time my pride and joy was a Kawa GPZ500 - called an EX 500 here if i remember, so it was a decent but not startlingly so motorbike.

It handled well, but you'd not want it to land on your legs because it was a lot heavier than those knobbly tyred trial bikes.

My work was 15 miles away, but on decent roads although very hilly compared to Texas. My usual riding style was to cover the front brake with 2 fingers, but in snow, you just make a conscious effort and wrap your whole right hand around the throttle.

When i pirouetted my way to work, nobody was answering the phones, so i took a phone call from an employee who would be absent because his car couldn't cope with the snow and it was too unsafe to drive. You can imagine his annoyance to hear me answering the call.

Are you still using Native Wicks? If so, are you using the Platinum or Pima? Why did you choose one over the other?

I use both, Native Wicks Platinum and Cotton Bacon V2. Whichever one I happen to pick up first. They're about the same. I get a little less waste, for some reason, with the Native Wicks. I did a short stint with rayon recently; but I just seem to prefer cotton. I still have a box of KGD Japanese cotton around, but I haven't used it in ages.

I tried CB V2 recently, it was ok, back to Rayon though. I just can't do cotton.

Rayon's ok. I just don't like the process of wicking with it. I'm just so used to cotton, I'm kinda set in my ways, I guess.

You vape at a lower Ohm than I do, I think. I am at around 1.3 and you are somewhat lower? I am thinking that Pima might be my best choice.

Yes, quite a bit lower. I build anywhere between .45 and .3 ohms, depending on the atty. when I build for the Stumpys, with a 24g 316L SS 'Z' coil, I'll go for about .33 ohms. For other attys, like the Hadaly, O-16, where I'm using 26g or 28g SS wire, I'll build between .4 and .45 ohms.
