So.... out of the box do I have to mess with anything regarding battery? I assume it came in a manner that it knows it is using triple 18650/ 3 cell.

Just going to be using in power mode and on Crown Ni. Seems to be working just fine thus far with three VTC5 and I must say an excellent feeling device.

All I have noticed is even though I told it (new coil) it will still flash temp protected after vaping. The instructions make that a little confusing implying you will only see that if you did not tell it (new coil). Then again I realize it is controlling temp.

"Temp Protected" just means that it is up to the temp you have set it at and it is holding it there while you fire. Perfectly normal, that's how it is supposed to work. You can turn that notification off in eScribe.

I figured... just wanting to make sure.

If any anyone notices anything terribly off or has some settings they strongly recommend please speak up. I have not downloaded escribe yet since I am still in shinny new thing mode.

Well the SXmini M class is also using zinc and they can't get a paint to stick really well unless they used a process that is very expensive so the finish if not protected by JWrap or sleeve just goes to hell. I know I have 6 of them and I love em. But I also want to get 1 DNA200 and this particular one is the one that really interests me. Great looking and from what I understand great in the hand plus doesn't use the Lipo battery cells.

I'd be all over a clear wrap / J wrap - Or a silicone sleeve.

I ordered a Reuleaux last night from Eciggity. A friend of mine received his last week and it sure is a nice looking mod and feels great in the hand. I have the VT200 Hcigar DNA200 mod and have enjoyed it other than the "small" capacity battery that it has. Looking forward to the three 18650's in the Reuleaux.

I don't have this DNA200, but the 3 that I do have don't have a power on/off. They go to sleep after about 30 minutes and that has very minimal battery draw. You can lock the power adjustment buttons and also the fire button. If you absolutely want to power it down, you could always remove the batteries.

Cheers,
Steve

Having the reuleaux 2 days now and funny how to discover that it is required to download escribe for the optimal capacity settings as the battery indicator isn't accurate for 3x18650

Me got some vtc4s now, which means capacity 23.31
Soon I'll be having LG HG2's, different mah than the vtc4's, which means I require another change in settings to maintain correct battery indication

That ain't gonna be easy while being outside and no laptop around :-/

Just got mine and before I go further I will say I am very experienced with the dna200 and escribe and building mods.

Want to know if anyone else experienced this. I put in my 3 new hg2's and charged via usb. Charging stopped at 84 percent and when removing the batteries 2 of them were at 4.05 and 1 at 4.18. Now I know charging stopped because the battery is imbalanced and one cell is charged fully. Anyone else have this happen?
