Did you take any pics?
no. but i'll take some pics now just gimmy a few minutes to re disassemble. First pic (from facebook) is before fixing ribbon. it's a little hard to see but it does slightly go under the fire button.

How do I get this file to load in Escribe?? I've tried but Escribe doesn't find the file. Thanx!!
Just rename the file and take off the .txt part - it should be 3S_LG_HE4_Battery_Profile.csv and then you can upload it. If you don't see the .txt at the end, in the Windows Explorer you'll need to go to "Folder and search options", the View tab, then under "Advanced settings" look for "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck that option.

Okay, so is it the fire button that will fail due to the ribbon being in the way? I'm exhausted so obvious things aren't that obvious atm.

Actually, the display can fail if the button damages the cable. Plus you get a "squishy" button press even if you don't damage the cable. Evolv kinda screwed up with the board design in that regard, it's a potential problem on several different DNA200 mods.

Thank you for the clarification. Is there a tell tale sign this modification needs to be done? Squishy fire button perhaps?

Surprised after so many other manufacturers had to correct these ribbons that Wismec wasn't more aware of the issue this late in the game.

Yep.... the pictures a few posts back show how simple it is to keep the ribbon away from the button. A few seconds on the production line and your good.

When I couldn't get Escribe to see the File I opened the file name in windows explorer to see what was going on and copied the name. Went to escribe and pasted the name into the open window and that is when the file name with the text extension popped up. Highlighted it and it loaded into Escribe without issue or renaming.

I could also have renamed the file without the text extension (ending in .csv) when I opened the file name in windows explorer but I had not yet realized that was the case at the time.

There is a pictorial that shows how to do the ribbon fix on the FB user group page. (page was linked a few posts up)

I did the fix and it was pretty easy and only took a few minutes. Mine was actually more under the fire button than the one in the pics. I can feel the difference in the button.

Thanx donnah and Atmizr for bringing this issue to our attention on this thread!!

Also thanks as well for that curve. I wonder if it would be similar to use with the 25R5s curve or if I have to supply another for them.

Thanks for the HE4 profile and watt/hours number. Regarding the ribbon, I really don't like to have to mess with anything in that way with the device. Is there anyway to tell if the button might be hitting the ribbon?

Also: Boxer DNA133, Opus 200, and Reuleaux. Just a size comparison (while I realize I am interested in this I know that doesn't mean other people are, but someone has to be, right? lol). I still think the Boxer is my favorite. That said, the Reuleaux will be getting the most use because I feel more comfortable with the enclosure constantly going in and out of my bag. I am really impressed with the Reuleaux considering it was over 100 dollars cheaper than the Boxer (VapeNW sale and the Boxer was an assembled unit in the optional alumylon color) and it is very comparable, but just a little bigger and much heavier as expected- same exact performance though.
