I've been getting quite a few requests for an option to not have the 3 large lateral slots and i originally was resistant to that, but who says i'm not open to change? LOL. We drafted up a non -slotted version. It is vented with 4 vents recessed horizonatally into the third groove from the bottom. All the interior remains the same.
When you now preorder, you can choose with or without the lateral slots.
Those who already ordered it with the lateral slots and would like to change, email me at the following address with the subject heading "Shockwave Order Change" In the email include your real name and order number if you still have it and a note that you want it without the slots. I don't have any estimates at this time. Probably a bit after the release once things get settled down.

No, it won't delay shipping. As is usually the case, only my OCD in finish prep will delay shipping
I can't really make out that rendering. Is there a ledge in the body of the non slotted one?
I feel like I need to see a prototype.
Also...how does the slotted version look with a battery in it? With the sleeve for the kick?
I'm sure we'll see these things closer to release...I'm a bit more inclined to look at the slots as a design element...since the original concept included them.

Just ordered my shockwave minus the vents, i cannot wait for this to arrive even though i am going to have to pay customs charges on top, but this is a serious piece of well engineered kit and i am sure it will more than deliver. SORTED
